Just to show the ineptitude that is the head coach of Mississippi State University. Seriously, that game is going to be a beatdown.

Croom gets up for this game and Bama has a tendency to play down to its competition. After what could be a hard game w/LSU, it may be pretty close.

We'll still lose, of course.

and Crooms stating beating Bama every year is one of our goals, a beat down like no other is waiting.

But Bama doesn't care about us nearly as much as they do about LSU, and certainly not as much as they do about Auburn. I doubt they'll put together their best performance for us, while I would figure to see some good effort from us.

If Alabama loses to LSU, they will be pissed off. If they beat LSU, they will be in sight of the BCS championship game. Either way, they remember last year. Or more precisely...Saban remembers last year.

Or if Bama loses to LSU, they could be flat and not play well.

I still don't think they get up that much for us. Enough to win, but not enough to kill us.

And we always at least put forth good effort against them.

I think it will be a fairly tight game. Bama is not that great of a team, even though they are ranked No. 1. I haven't been nearly as impressed with them as I have been with Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, etc.

They are definitely beatable, and they tend to play to their competition to an extent. They did that in 1992 and won a national championship, but I still don't think they make it ugly against you guys.
