For those of you who don't live in the south, how do you watch State games. I'm about to be moving to Michigan, is my best hope to try and find the games online? Is there a package similar to NFL Sunday ticket that would let me watch all the games? I've seen ESPN College gameplan, but they do not list what games they are carrying yet this season. Since some of our games are on FSN or the SEC Network, I'm assuming that they would not be on College Gameplan. Did anyone order it last year? Is that correct? Also, I'm thinking that you can not order a regional Fox Sports Channel unless you live in that region, correct?</p>

I've lived out of state/region for several years. With the new SEC contract with ESPN, most of the MSU games will be carried on the ESPN GamePlan, particularly all conference games. They also carry a lot of games that are telecast by regional networks (like the old Jefferson Pilot syndicated games). Also, for the games on the regional Fox sports networks, check with your cable company and see if they have a "sports package" - most of those packages give you access to many of the Fox regional networks. And, on top of all that, there's ESPN3.com which carries a lot of the games online for free (if your cable/internet company participates). The picture quality on ESPN3 is generally pretty good if you have a good broadband connection.

Gameplan will show every SEC game that's broadcasted on the SEC Network syndicated package, every Fox Sports South game, every CSS game, and every pay-per-view game (outside the blackout areas).

It is the way for you to go. And anything you can see on Gameplan you can also see on ESPN3.com.

I didn't order it last year, but I did the year before, and there was not a single SEC game I was unable to get.

you should see "several" of our games. If you get the sports pack from Directv, you get ALL the Regional Fox Sports channels (and more). It's also worth checking out to see if there's a SEC-TV affiliate where you are moving to. There's an outdated affiliate list linked here. If you're not moving to Detroit (or close enough to Toledo [!?] to pick up their stations) looks like it might be ESPN3 for you.

i've lived outside the south since 2004 and i used to have the espn gameplan before espn3, but now if the game isn't on one of the espn stations, we're on espn3 90% of the time and i can stream it through my xbox. if you have a computer or xbox to stream the games, there's really no point in espn gameplan. the handful of games we've been on something i couldn't get at home, i just go to the sports bar.
