and I apologize if this has been hashed out. I thought the game was on Fox Sports NET (401 in Jxn Comcast). I thought this primarily b/c the schedule on mstateathletics.com says it is. But I just checked the guide and its on Fox Sports SOUTH (402 in Jxn Comcast). Obviousy not a huge deal now that I know but what the hell.

is the parent entity for all the FoxSports<Insert Region Here>. So being on FSN means that it will be available on the FoxSports network but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be the feature game. It also doesn't mean that any of the regions have to pick it up. Usually the regions cover their own games and FoxSportsNET takes the best (or what ever they contracted) of the regional games to show.

So no, the schedule doesn't say it's specifically on the FoxSportsNET channel, it says it's on the Fox Sports Network, which can be different channels depending on your region, provider, state, etc.

...who have to deal with this every year:

FSN is Fox Sports Net (Regional), and down here it's Fox Sports Net (South). Fox SportSouth is the old Turner Sports South that Fox bought and did a ****** job of renaming.

I've never seen something advertised as FSN before that was actually on Sports South.

The Braves are on FSN that night, fwiw.
