THIS is why A&M joined the SEC. And the gap is only going to get bigger. Texas tried to make a power play and all it got them was suddenly being second fiddle in their own state. They're going to pay for their mistake for a long time.

I think you're right, but it will be interesting to see what national numbers look like for aTm without Johnny Football.

Yeah. Doesn't hurt to have the most recognizable player in college football on your team too.

They will be at the top of the SEC in scoring as long as Sunlin is there no matter the QB.

Considering that more people saw Mississippi State play this year than saw Texas play, I think A&M's viewership will be just fine without Johnny Football.

Well, they watched us play TAMU with him, so I'm not clear on how the State-TAMU game numbers prove your point. They will have good numbers beyond this year, of course, but non-fans watching A&M will go down.

No, not just the A&M game. More people watched MSU over the course of the season than watched Texas. This site only includes about half our games and totals about 15M for MSU viewership. Considering the Egg Bowl is one it doesn't include and that was a national ESPN game, we're comfortably ahead of Texas in total viewership. That's how much it means to be in the SEC vs the Big 12.

I think that UT fans are going to see very soon that Dodds has been blowing old

leftover Southwest Conference smoke up their asses for a long time to make them think they were still relevant. Its going to be similar to another team that still looks back to the 50's-70's when they were relevant and think its still so today.
