transferring effective immediately. Probably addition by subtraction, but the circus continues.

That's ok Sid the Kid has so much talent he can beat 5 guys by himself, and the way Stans is going he may have to.

I wonder if he huddles with the assistants for 16 minutes and then talks to the players for 30 seconds before going back out for warm ups.

Who is going to miss lay-ups and dunks now that Twanny and Elgin are gone? Both sucked. Who cares? I have been upset for 2 years that Twanny was on the team to begin with. Looks like we're improving to me. All this other mess I blame on Stansbury, but I am actually happy about this specific defection.

It is beyond me how Twany ever got on the team to begin with. He has the worst offensive game of any guard not named Iupe thatI can ever remember at MSU. And don't give me that "it hurts our depth" crap either. The less Twany played the better we were. This will also open up more PT for Deville Smith next year.

That being said, our program is still a laughing stock and a three ring circus.

This made me laugh. Some of the midgets would have to be his kids. While we're at it, let's have Meo swallow a flaming sword and make John Riek tame a lion. And don't forget cotton candy and candy apples getting tossed around by the candy man. This has all the makings to drive up ticket sales and pay off that practice facility.

Buy. Obviously the addition of Bost and Sidney will make us better but I think cutting some of the dead weight will help us a bit too. Face it, Elgin was a defensive liability and he missed more dunks than he made. Twany was the worst guard to ever play significant minutes at State.....ever. I think that not having those two taking up minutes may actually benefit us in the long run if Sidney can get his *** into some semblance of shape.

Clarification: By "better" I mean I am upgrading my prediciton from 5-11 in the SEC to 7-9. We will still suck.

Twanny was going to get maybe 2 minutes/game if that. Doesn't matter with him.

Now with Elgin gone - I think that hurts more. Our frontline is

Kodi - who doesn't play down low and can't guard anyone on the post
Sidney - ???? about his D - have no idea what he can do
Lewis - him and Bailey were interchangeable on D
Riek - seriously?

I think Bailey leaving hurt us.

...huge Buy.

You just don't get it. Why does it matter if we are "better?" This program is beyond dead and is getting buried deeper every day.

You are right. I should just hold my breath and stomp my feet the next 3 months and abandon all hope. I get that we freaking suck. It is not a big mystery.

Point being, Stansbury has a tendency to play guys like Elgin and Twany even though every second they are on the court they hurt us. We would be better off if Twany would take Rick with him.

player he was and simply can't jump and move like he could. I admire his grit in coming back from that injury as well as he did though.

....and not pay attention to this god awful train wreck. When enough apathy sets in, the administration will act.

As to your point, what does it matter if we are 5-11 or 7-9?

7-9 still gives us a shot at the CBI Tourney and adds to The Recruiter's postseason numbers, so his sheep will still be happy

probably a wash either way but while Twanny gave us absolutely nothing, in my view, Bailey did at least give us one player who liked to play physical and was mean as heck under the basket. His limitations post-injury has caused him to be much less effective but I still wish we could have kept him for game situations when playing someone with beef in the post.

Tranny's minutes were going to Bryant now that Dee is back, and with Deville coming in next year he would never see the floor. It is actually a smart move for him, I just wonder what Division II team he ends up on.
