It's turned into more of a dramatic conversation type of show than the attention grabbing action show that it was. The second half hour is almost all commercials. However, I looked on the other channels and didn't see anything better. Oh well, all good things ...

It did feel like a waste of time watching tonight but I am sure we are not the only two who thought it was a bad episode and the producers will get bombed by emails and it will be fixed.

By the way is Carol, redneck , Rick and his son the only four left from the first season?

Season 5 has been much better than Season 4 so far. The first three episodes were as intense as it gets.

They've slowed down a little bit since then, but it's not like you're having episodes like The Governor flashback episodes or the one where Beth just wanted some booze. Everything has been meaningful.

A blood and bullets type of show doesn't work unless you care about the characters. With such a big cast now, they have to have some character development episodes.

I agree that the show has become hit or miss lately. Looking forward to the spinoff and looking at the apocalypse from a new perspective. Why the hell the original group is still in a heavily populated area of Georgia has made the story a bit dumb and repetitive.
