Who cares about approval ratings.......Trump is the POTUS. He had enough approval to get elected.
That would depend on who is running. If the Bit*h runs again I'll vote for him again. If a more non controversial person runs I'll keep my options open. I decide about Trump based on his record at the end of his term.
Approval ratings do matter. It's much easier for Dems (or Repubs) to not work with the so called prez when his approval numbers are down.
We're talking about passing legislation of course not getting elected. If you're right then everything should be clear sailing for the Trump legislative agenda but we already know that's not the case.
You seem to forget that Trump made a lot of Republican enemys during this past election. Nothing will be clear sailing for him.
Also you will never see the Repubs stick together like the Dems do. Values and principles are more inportant to them instead of blind loyalty based on party. This political bias was never more evident than the vote in the trial of Bill Clinton in the Senate. NOT ONE Democrat voted guilty.

You clearly don't understand polls and probability and statistics. Is Probability and Statistics not a course requirement for dentists at WVU?
From reading his posts here, I think he got it mail order from Trump University perhaps.
They don't for electoral college polling, but they do for everything else including approval rating where vote numbers equate to a percentage.
Mine was, you are probably smarter than the average student, statistically speaking. Your assumption is that those polled are in states that voted for Trump or not? If those polled are in the states of NY and Calf, does it really matter?
Pollsters account for bias. I am by no means an expert. They account for bias, anomalies and skew in their polling. That's why they typically ask several questions in addition to the "do you support" or "do you oppose" and then throw out those that are non representative to eliminate bias.
May I remind you that most polls had Clinton ahead right up to election day in several of the states she lost. I guess the polls never factored in the Russian and Trump collusion.
CNN is biased itself. I could take a poll of midwesterners vs east coast-west coast and get two different results. I could asked leading questions.
And Quinnipiac and Monmouth polls both had similar results.
Leading questions? Everything I posted about professional polling just went right over your head.
The same professionals that had Hilliary winning by a record number of electoral college votes. If CNN quotes it, it's probably wrong.
