Sunday is quiet period. Monday is dead period. Unless the NCAA site is oversimplifying the rules, Jones can't have face time with the coaches now.

I think he is there. He misled us the first time about whether he would show up in Oxford or not, and I see no reason he hasn't done it several times since then.
My question is this: if he told Talty he was on the way back to Houston, then how come WickedPissah and others swear he was in Starkville as late as 11:30 or so?

The Quiet Period started an hour ago. The only recruits allowed on that campus at this time would be recruits invited on an official visit for this weekend. As we all know, he was in Starkville on Saturday watching a basketball game. If somebody confirmed that he was at Ole Miss right now, at this very moment, then he'd be there against the rules.

I think unofficial visits are allowed as well, unfortunately, just saying.
During a quiet period, athletes and coaches cannot have any face-to-face contact, except on the college’s campus; athletes can still go on official and unofficial visits. Coaches and athletes can also communicate via phone, snail mail, and e-mail. But coaches cannot go visit athletes or watch them compete or practice.

After midnight if you aren't on an official visit, you can't be on campus visiting coaches. Each coach gets 1 phone call to jones today and that's it. Now parents might be another story....
