It will be UMass' first appearance in Morgantown since 2007 when WVU downed the Minutemen in the NIT, 90-77. WVU and North Carolina Central will meet for the first time in school history.</p><p></p><p>It was previously announced that the Mountaineers will open the regular season at home against Robert Morris on Nov. 4, play host to Iona on Nov. 20, face Georgetown in the Big 12-Big East Battle on Dec. 6 at the WVU Coliseum and close out nonconference play at home against Mercyhurst on Dec. 22.</p><p></p><p>The Mountaineers will play three games in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas from Nov. 27-29. The rest of that field includes Arizona, Davidson, Gonzaga, Indiana, Louisville, Oklahoma and Providence.</p><p></p><p>The Mountaineers will have a road game at Pitt and have one remaining home nonconference game to schedule.
