Two more radio calls from the LSU game...

One is the 4th down stop and the other one is actually 2 plays - pass to DeRunnya that sets up Josh Robinson's TD. That 2nd call is probably Jim Ellis's best ever for football.

I came to a realization when I listened to the other calls you already posted from the LSU game. Hearing Matt's awkward outbursts/celebrations in the background of Jim's calls is a good reminder of why I would never be a successful play caller. No way I could keep my composure, especially during a broadcast as big as the LSU game.

I think your play-by-play needs to be fair, but also know he is pulling for the team he represents, and I think the color guy is fine if he's a homer. Matt gives the other teams credit as well. Who knows how Jack would react to the plays that are happening now. We are making a lot of big plays. I think we lead the nation in big plays or are up at the top of the list.
