Two more spots, correct?

Kinda how I’m seeing it right now too.

Be hard to add a Pierre type and still play Jasper/Chandler/Lewis the minutes each of them are anticipating at the 1-2 spots. And that’s if you’re not considering Williams at the 2 and only at the 3…..and then there is Dioubate who could probably play some 3/4.

We are clearly still pursuing a SG but I could easily see us being finished with key rotation guys if we miss in Pierre/Yates, adding 2 low level D1 guys for practice depth that will be happy to ride the bench on a title contender vs playing at an NKU type… and starting Jasper at the 2.

I think one way to sort of pull this off, is we have to strongly consider paying a guy like Chandler or Lewis a little more than the going rate to keep them. Not only for backups, but maybe sell them on a bigger role (and more money) next season. It's a tough balancing act, but were gonna have to pay to keep a decent bench.

Oweh needs to play SF. Really need a shooter at 2G
I don't think it matters a lick how you label the wings.

2 or 3 is just marketing at this point, at least for us.
Robinson and Brea were as shooting guard as they could be as Oweh was the small forward but the line up claimed he was the 2.

We play three guards for all intents and purposes.

I'd imagine the intent is to pair him with a shooter though.

I actually look for Oweh's numbers to drop. Last season, there were stretches he put the whole team on his shoulders and we just rode him. I'm expecting alot more flexibility on offense next year. If that happens, we shouldn't have to rely on him as much. He will be just as valuable next year, but his numbers may not reflect it as much.
he’s one of those players that never gets tired.
It seems as if he becomes more effective late in games because he’s not as fatigued.
I believe he will have more efficient numbers next season and if he works on his shooting, he’s all All-American.

Pope seems possessed. He's probably like let's go hard and get this done so I can have a vacation.

I don't know if the dude has had 1 day off since taking the job a year ago. Hard to keep that up without burning out. He's need to get our guard and take a nice vacation. He's earned it.

It matters a lot when on the floor. Your 3 has to rebound more and your 2 has to get back in the fast break quicker.

I see the other day where St. John’s was the favorite to get him. I was also just throwing out names. It still seems like Pierre or Yates or somebody we haven’t heard of yet. Branham said tonight Kentucky might be interested in Ian Jackson
Branham's a goof. No way Ian Jackson doesn't either return to UNC or go to St. John's.

Have you ever seen the Saudis land their giant planes filled with hundreds of millions of dollars of merch and horses at BG Airport and just nonchalantly pay the fine that would bury 99.5% of Americans?

Horses is munny.

Bourbon will take a hit with the tariff war though, so that one may be fair for the foreseeable future.

Your point is good, though. I'm just playing devil's advocate. It's not like we're bereft.
We need to bring back a good tech company to fill the void of IBM. If the next google is in lexington, you better believe we will have the nations biggest NIL

I'm convinced we win the natty next year if we get Folgueiras and any of the shooters we're still after.

Would leave us with one spot for a guy like Max Green or whomever (if we're hell-bent on getting the full 15).
Let's see if JQ can get back to full health first, and when.

What about Lexmark?

They used to be really big. Are they still a worldwide company?

I'd wait and see what he looks like until after an off-season of weight training fundamentals training, before passing judgement on Chandler. IMO, he has potentially as much upside as anyone on the team.
Good points... he'll at least know where the bar will be set...

alas the problem is they ended up as a single trick pony building paper office products in a digital age. didn't work and they effectively firesold to xerox ($1.5B, but def a firesale based on revenues). IBM, if it remained, would have minted millionaires for Lexington, which would have collectively given us enough money to compete in NIL.
