MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (August 17, 2017) – The Big 12 Conference announced this morning that four league soccer contests will be telecast on ESPNU and FOX Sports Regional Networks (FSN) during the 2017 season.
The No. 1-ranked and five-time reigning Big 12 Conference champion West Virginia University women’s soccer team will be featured in two of the telecasts in home matches at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
The Mountaineers’ contest against Oklahoma on Sunday, Oct. 8, will be broadcast throughout the state of West Virginia and the Pittsburgh region on AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh at 2 p.m. ET. The match was previously scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET. Fans outside of the region also will be able to watch the match on local FSN channels.
Less than two weeks later, ESPNU will televise WVU’s match against Texas Tech on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 5 p.m. ET. The match was previously scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Additionally, FS1 also will provide a live broadcast of the 2017 Big 12 Soccer Championship final at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 5. The conference championship again will be held at Swope Soccer Village, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Also of note, the Mountaineers’ match at Princeton on Friday, Sept. 15, also will be televised on ESPNU, with first kick set for 4 p.m. ET.
There’s still time to purchase your WVU Soccer Scarf ticket package before the team’s 2017 home opener against No. 11 Virginia on Thursday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m., at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. The package, which includes 10 tickets to be used at any women’s or men’s regular-season soccer match and an exclusive 2017 WVU soccer scarf, also is available for purchase at WVUGAME.com. Packages are just $30 and are available while supplies last.
Fans also can purchase tickets online in advance for any home match by visiting WVUGAME.com and selecting the Print-At-Home or Mobile Delivery options.
