In the second half, AJ McCarron throws a pass to the back shoulder of his receiver Norwood. He calmly turns around, catches it and makes a touchdown.

In the 4th quarter, Damian Williams throws a behind-the-shoulder pass to DeRunnya Wilson, and Wilson looks like he's never caught a pass before in his life.

Two 5th year seniors vs two true freshmen.

Not sure that's much of a comparison - but I get the point.

So, the difference is a heisman candidate vs. a true freshman QB. Not to mention a Senior WR vs. a true freshman WR. State will never compete with these guys.*8

Didn't know Milton touched the ball last night. But thanks for that insight, I guess.

Williams made the perfect throw to Wilson. However, Wilson looked like he's never seen a football before in his life.

The football players are at Mississippi State for two reasons: to win football games, and to entertain us.

You get paid free room, board, and tuition (to take Interdisciplinary Studies) just to catch passes, you need to learn how to catch passes. You can't learn that, you'll neither win games nor entertain us.

So we start taking away meals, showers, scholarships, etc. when someone misses an assignment? That's brilliant.

Players aren't there to win or entertain us. They're there to play football. They're there because they want to win and represent this state/university. U R N Idoit.

Wilson has been, by far, our best receiver. That's the only noticeable bad play he's made all season. Clearly Wilson wasn't expecting the ball so soon, so we can't say for certain that it was all his fault. He would have easily scored if the ball would have been thrown at the pylon. But that didn't happen and he missed the ball.

It looked to me like Wilson was expecting the deep ball. But as soon as he turned his head, the bullet pass was right on top of him.

Tough play to make. But a great throw.

You do realize you are arguing with the guy on the corner of Canal and Bourbon, wearing an Elmo outfit, chugging on a bottle of Night Train.

So the excuse for Jameons drop a play earlier, a freshman qb threw it? Ok...
