Two players with the same number

What is the logic behind the rule change that allowed this? Other than a player wanting to keep his high school number I can't see any benefit, and I can sure see the negative.

Don't know but it went on for a half in the 2013 Egg Bowl too, and nobody noticed it, I think it was Kimdeechee. So I don't blame that on Leach.

We did it against Louisiana Tech.....we had two #5's on special teams for a couple of plays....then they started putting a temporary #98 on Charlton before every special teams play, so we didn't get penalized, but someone had noticed and rectified it.
