Two positives to take from this game...

1. Tyson Henig has two games left. We never have to hear this sorry piece of ****'s name again in two weeks.

2. Maybe now we can get off of this ridiculous black jersey nonsense.

The fact that we will almost certainly have an upgrade at QB next year is huge. We don't lose much else that can't be replaced besides Dixon. Hopefully that big Juco guy can fill the role.

I think we come out and play extremely hard the last two games. Many of the guys on the team have been to a bowl game, and that's some strong motivation.

Edit: I like the black jerseys as long as we use them in moderation.

and neither Ark or OM are near the caliber of Bama BUT we've never won a game in the state of Arkansas and OM is going to be tough as well with McCluster running all over the place. I know one thing, I am so ready for Tyler Russell and/or Cameron Newton that I can't stand it. Lee and Relf are both just mistakes waiting to happen and give us little chance to beat quality teams.

but he doesn't belong on the field. It amazes me that Relf can't beat him out for the job. Maybe this is part of Mullens plan to get Newton. I really don't think that but with two games left you have to come up with something/anything to get the ball down the field besides dixon running the ball. At was nice to see some balls that where close to being completed in the endzone. Those alabama defenders had a great game tonight. Maybe if we get those the lost doesn't look as bad but then again there's no such thing as a moral victory.

tonight but on all of those our receivers were not able to get ANY separation from the DBs. Either a great job by their secondary or a poor job by our receivers but their DBs being right with our receivers allowed them to make plays on the ball.

I know it's mentioned on the Bulldawg Junction about 10 times a week, but where did this whole "Lee plays with so much heart" thing get started? The guy doesn't play with any more heart or emotion, or try harder than any of our other players. He doesn't play any harder than anyone else on our team. He just sucks way, way, way worse than any other player on our team.

but the little guy can take a hit plus I think he trys so hard sometimes to make a play work that he ends up throw a pick or ball that gets knock down by a linemen. The simple matter is that his lack of height just kills any chance he has to be a decent QB. You can't not say that he ever gives up. Like I said I think he trys to hard sometimes to make things work and his lack of height combines to result in a disaster. Like when he had those fumbles on the hand off to dixon he kept pulling the ball back trying to read the defense instead of just letting Dixon try to do his thing. Another example is the LSU game where he "thought he had a whole to run" if he just keeps in simple in those cases and gives it to our star RB back then maybe just maybe the game results in a different way.

You do realize how tiny he is, right? There's no way he should be on an SEC field. He's tiny, and he obviously lacks the skills. But yet the guy is fearless. He plays his butt off, is tough as nails, and gives us everything he has. I don't get the hate for Lee, I really don't. Hate on Crooms, it's his fault. He is the one that failed to sign a single QB better than Lee in his entire tenure. He's the one that left us Lee and Relf at QB. Don't get mad at Lee, it's not his fault. He shouldn't be out there. It's not Relf's fault either, he shouldn't be out there either. Blame the one responsible.

I don't give a **** how short he is or who recruited him. He doesn't play any harder than anyone else on the field. Just because he sucks worse than anyone else on the field doesn't mean he plays harder. I don't know where this nonsense originated, but it's getting old hearing it ever week for the past two years. McPhee plays with a lot of heart too but you don't hear anyone saying that every week because he doesn't need an excuse made for him to be on the field. Do you think Lee should just quit playing because he is short? No, he is going to keep playing because we keep putting him out there, and he is going to keep throwing interceptions and making mental mistakes basically 70% of the time. He does everything wrong, but that doesn't mean that he plays with alot of heart. He just sucks, don't make it into something else.

to keep plugging away. I'm sure he knows he sholdn't be there. Most of our players aren't so routinely confronted with the fact that they shouldn't be playing. He is. And it's got to be pretty hard to keep your head up play after play like that.

How many walk-ons have we had at MSU through the years that have started on the team? Several. I can think of Josh Morgan, Eric Hoskins, Lance Long, Brandon McRae, Scott Westerfield, TJ Mawhinney, maybe Paul LaCoste all off of the top of my head.

If you say, yeah, and they sucked to, you're proving my point.

The fact that they were walk-ons does not mean that they are not expected to perform because of their limitations. At some point, Tyson Lee has to perform.

Who recruited him does not matter, his heart, church affiliation, effort etc. does not matter if he can not perfrom.

And yeah, it is Croom's fault that we're in this situation, but he still has to perform.

I don't know why Tyson gets a pass- maybe people just feel sorry for him or whatever- but Tyson is doing stupid stuff. Like throwing the ball up in the middle of the field. Reading the option wrong and earlier in the year screwing up the handoffs, throwing into double coverage. Some of that is basic QB 101 stuff that I expect Madison Central's QB to not do, much less a guy that is on State's team. I expect Aaron Encalade to know not to do that stuff.

One thing's for sure- I bet Dan Mullen doesn't feel sorry for him. I also find it hilarious when the guy behind me is defending Tyson while Dan is going off on Lee in front of me on the sideline.

And everyone of those players I mentioned, except for maybe Hoskins and Westerfield, had people reaming them out telling them that they sucked. I didn't see the "well he's a walk-on, and he wants to be a Bulldog, etc." card played for them.

Tyson Lee WOW. I can't even begin how much I hate him at this point. And I can't even describe how stupid it is for people to defend him. HE SUCKS. Please God let us make it out of these last two games with our redshirts still intact.
