FSU and Virginia are tied at 4 in the 12th inning.
LSU takes 2-1 lead against Arkansas tied in the 6th.

Really need FSU to lose and us to win today. A win by us could get us past FSU and Oregon into the 8th RPI spot and that would bolster our shot at a national seed considerably.

Virginia walk off 3 run homer in the 12th.

That's great for us. FSU goes 0-3 in pool play and their RPI should take a bit of a hit. Probably not much, but a little bit. They should be out of the national seed conversation now I think. Got to take advantage of this today.

RPI impact of the FSU loss.

Before their loss we were .0088 RPI points behind them. After their loss, we are now only .0072 RPI points behind them. Not much of a change, but enough to where I think a win today would put us 9th in RPI. We are also only .0098 points behind NC State for 8th and .0100 points behind Oregon for 7th to show some RPI perspective on where we currently sit.
