LP to slot receiver to replace Bumphis. He has great hands, and he is faster than any of our receivers.Second, move Whitley to OLB. He is a big hitter, and he may be fast enough to play linebacker. He is not fast enough to play safety

Not sure I agree with those.

I've got one move of my own to suggest. Eulls needs to go to DT. He played DE at 280 pounds this year. He had ZERO sacks and 1 TFL. Unacceptable. He's too big and he got exposed against teams that spread it out and beat us to the edges. He needs to put on 20 pounds and play DT and Preston Smith needs to start at DE. He led the team in sacks this year and hardly ever played. DL next year should look like Smith, Eulls, Evans, Autry.

As to the two you suggested, who would Whitley be better than at LB? Certainly not McKinney or Skinner and you can't convince me he's better than Richie Brown or Matt Wells.

I like Perkins at RB, but I don't like the amount of carries he gets up the middle. Griffin should be that guy. I think Perkins out of the backfield is the biggest threat we have on the team. Keep him at RB, but let him split carries and give our RBs chances to succeed in situations they were built for. Perkins up the middle last night was dumb and got destroyed. We've got 3 capable RBs and they all have a different skill set and we need to use them in situations they will excel in.

Agree with you about Eulls, but who will replace all of Bumphis production among our present receivers? I think LP is our best chance.and I think we have other good running backs

Tubby Lewis has to be the slot guy next year. He is our one home run threat at WR, and hopefully he will grow into that role.

Eta: I completely agree on Eulls, and we need to use Whitley as more of a dog safety, as opposed to in coverage. Which means more of a LB.
