Thats cool, in '11 we will have post players like Bailey, Riek, and Lewis to count on...no need for a talented player with both size and mobility.

Outside of Smith and Luckett, I don't think we lead for anybody.

Does anyone know how hard we were recruiting Adams? I know he had an offer from us, but in his interviews it never seemed like we were going after him as hard as we should have been.

Rick has been to BHS at least once a month for the past six months. He's still hard after Adams, as far as other guys I don't know.

Because we lost a recruit to the National Champions that means the collapse of basketball at MSU. That you OEM?

Good big guy from in-state with MSU tiesaltough it's hard to ever blame a player going to a program fresh off a national championship with multiple post players in the NBA.

Who would have thought Duke would have come after Adams three months ago.....karma has not been on the side of the MSU Athletic dept. this year.

Don't let anyone fool you. We were going after Adams VERY hard. We just flat footed lost out on him to Duke. That sucks and pisses me off don't get me wrong, but they did just win the NC.

Then the line will be longer for who's next. Hell, we lost a kid to the Natiional Champion. I don't I've ever seen a true MSU fan wish us to lose more than this jerk, Coach 34. You are one pathetic piece of ****.

He has been a fixture at MSU games behind the bench, pretty much all season.<div>

failing to bring in some of the top recruits of the 2011 class that we all have been hearing about the last 2 years- mean I want us to lose?

I understand we will lose the battle with Dook each and every time, but we are also losing on the other ones too. I've heard from multiple sources we have no chance with O'Bryant.

All I've heard about the last 2 years is how "The Recruiter" is going to bring in this fabulous recruiting class of 2011, and it appears we won't get anything close to a super class at all

You jerk off every time something happens negative regarding MSU basketball. If you don't want us to lose, then why do you relish anytime we have a bad thing occur. Hell, the kid wanted to go to Duke, good for him, but if you are going to sit here and try to convince us you are not pleased he did not go to MSU, then you sure have an odd way of showing it. We all get it, you hate Stans, go pull for another team. it wouldn't bother 99% of this board one bit. I hope dawg152 does whip your *** and some of us would pay to watch your lazy *** run from him.

all I said to this news is - "beginning of the end"....all I have read about on this board is to how important this 2011 class was going to be- and we are not doing a very good job - so far- it appears in landing some of these guys. If Stansbury is unable to land a solid group from this bunch- then you have to admit it could very well be the end of him.

It's not over by any means and we still got months to go, but the early returns don't look too promising

This is a huge loss, he was going to MSU until Coach K came calling.. I just hope we can get Smith, Hood, Luckett, & O'Bryant.
Stans can't be happy about this. Tyler has been going to games all year long. We need some Juicy Jumbo's to be sent to Tyler's mom asap.
If Stans fails to land 3 of the top 6 recruits from MS in 2011, then he will be out the door soon enough.

I figure we could meet in front of the new union. Coach might not know where that is since he hasn't been on campus in years.

Stansbury will be out the door when he starts losing games not 4 or 5 star recruits. We have lost out on plenty of good playersover the years and this won't be the last.

I would love to have this kid at MSU but the one thing no one can say about Stansbury is that he has ever left the cupboard bare at MSU. That is what is so comical about the Polk and Croom comparisons.

Just like we get that you would guzzle for Stans if he told you to. Your homerism knows no bounds.

As for the fight, i cant beleive anyone would pay to watch some dumbass from a message board fight another dumbass. Iwont even pay for actual fights using, you know, fighters. No chance some cripple fightwouldbe worth it.

What are you even doing on here? Last week you basically said Stans is fine andeverything works out without our input, so we dontneed to even discuss events.
Wouldntthat apply for you too? No need to be here then, right?

Sorry someone who respects our current coach shouldn't have a voice. and by the way, who are you to tell me or anybody else who belongs here? I still think Stans will do okay and he lost a kid too Duke. it is not the end of the world just like when Mullen lost Newton to Auburn. Get a life!

Yes you can be here, and no im not trying to force you to leave. You managed to miss the point entirely.

Last week you criticized me for discussing who would leave or give up their scholarship now that Steele is coming. You basically defeated the point of having a message board.
So since you clearly see no point in a message board, then i question what use you have for being here...on a message board.

Again, i really dont care that you are here. Honestly, i enjoy reading your hilariously wrong posts that come off as fact. I welcome more posting from you because more posts = more entertainment for the mstateglfr.

Now no Adams and O'Bryant is heading elsewhere two. Stans is heading out the door sooner than he and Dawgbreeze think. He should have gone to Clemson when he had the chance, but I think he realized that he wouldn't last long there with his no coaching self. Two or three more years and Stans will "retire" before he is fired.

We need at least 1 of the class's 2 big guys - Adams or O'Bryant. O'Bryant could go anywhere, so you had to feel better about our chances with Adams.

Smith is a must-sign. No way around that, because we've missed (or passed) on Stringer and Nelson. I think you're right that we need to sign 3: Smith, Hood/Luckett, O'Bryant. Apparently, the Grieves kid from St. Patrick may be a player too and could be a nice bonus. He plays AAU with the others, I think.

When O'Bryant chooses UK or Memphis or wherever, I'm going to be sorely disappointed.
