Sevendust posted this and I'm not sure where article came from..
Brandon (Miss.) High School forward Tyler Adams said the rumors about him wavering in his commitment to Duke were “crazy” and “not true.”
“I don’t know what’s been going on,” said Adams, a rising senior who committed to the reigning national champions in late-April. “I’m solid to Duke.”
A Mississippi State fan site posted an article recently saying that the Bulldogs were still recruiting Adams, along with Georgetown.
The article also quoted Adams as saying, “Mississippi State is still in the mix and still an option.”
Adams said he “never said that.”
“That’s just not true,” he said. “My friend told me about the article. I
didn’t even know about it. The guy from that site called me and asked
me a bunch of questions and I talked to him, but I didn’t say I was
still looking at Mississippi State or anything like that. I could sort
of tell that he was just trying to start stuff. I did tell him that
those schools were still recruiting me.”
When told that, though it happens, continuing to recruit a player who is already committed is frowned upon, Adams
replied, “Yeah, well, I don’t know all the rules with this stuff … But
it doesn’t really matter anyway. I’m going to Duke. That’s 100 percent.
I’ll be at Duke next year
