...
a made field goal being blown back through the uprights against TSUN....

losing to a #2 Auburn team 17-16 by missing an extra point...

losing 13-7 at Alabama when they were calling out our snap counts making us jump offside...

losing 29-25 to Alabama and Jay Barker with usbeing up 25-15 with a few minutes left...

And more.

So, you're right. This is nothing new to us old 17ers.

Yep. All these people calling for Mullen's job.....how many times has Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, and State changed coaches and the results pretty much been the same?

State is and always will be a 4-7 wins program with the occassional out lying season.

Really the only thing changing in college football is the top tier programs are creating more distance between themselves and the lower tier teams. But the bottom feeders of the SEC are creating more distance between themselves and CUSA, Sun Belt, and etc. So, we have that going for us.

Then we have no business wasting $2.6 million per year on same ol MSU status. Go dig up Bobby Wallace from retirement, pay him 50 G's and put the money we've saved into basketball and baseball.

Baseball is in the same boat as football. When's the last time they won the SEC? Lucky for State, most of the SEC could not care less about basketball.
