I like that he played pretty decent (for his season average) against Gonzaga. So it's not like he just beat up on the WCC and then wilted. SMC not quite as well.. but still, a freshman at San Fran who can still put up points and hit shots against those two teams (when the team around him is probably meh).. not too bad.

Berkeley’s Pops has a point. A lot of fans don’t know the game and always unhappy
Pulling from Westcoast seems to be a problem. And I get it, it's not like this is Missouri or Georgia. There's going to be perfectly good programs that want him and are only a quarter of the distance as we are. Have to pony up.

This kid is the type of kid could be stud in our system
Also, I think he has great touch (while Oweh is a little rigid), could be a solid two-way player in the future. He also has huge upside in offense...

A lot of people, like you said, looking at PPG but if the player has upside, Pope can get their offense figured out. I absolutely agree. Get guys with the body and upside and let Pope do his thing.

I’ve watched this kid play handful of times. He’s a dog. He’s super athletic. He rebounds. He’s very quick. His second jump can beat almost everyone off the floor. Very quick hands. Can finish at the rim in many many ways. Crafty. Plays the game with speed, effort, and intensity. Really like him. Would love to add him.

Probably worth a bench piece flyer with upside. Probably rather him than Mgbako. Probably cheaper too. Looks to have to tools to be successful. If he gains weight and strength he has the size and athleticism to be a good SEC player. Lots of upside.
Only problem is that he is west coast player, it is hard to pull kids from this area
I love Acaden Lewis. One of my favorite players in the class and I’m so happy he’s coming here. I think after a year or two he will be an absolute star. I think he makes quite an impact immediately but I love his long term potential as well.
