Here is a posting on ESPN with quotes from Jurich. It is a shame, I know Lonnie Galloway, he is a good guy, but he screwed up. He basically has been fired, but that wont be said. He will find another job over the course of the next month or so. This story is done. More heads will roll.

Louisville announces offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway is suspended for the bowl game and is cooperating with the ACC following the Wake Forest leak scandal involving radio broadcaster Tommy Elrod. Tom Jurich said in a statement: "It is clear to me that the information should not have been shared by anyone at Wake Forest and it should not have been received by anyone at the University of Louisville. Although no one from Louisville sought the information, once it was provided, we did not do what should have been done. The information should not have been accepted. It should have been rejected and officials at Wake Forest should have been alerted to the inappropriate action taken by Mr. Elrod."

All for show. Turtleneck wouldnt of done this if the media outside of louisville werent hammering him. Funny he didnt feel this way the other day that his o.c. did the wrong thing when he issued his usual "I am tom jurich we made a minor error in judgement and u all should get over it so we can focus on whats important here at uofl".

Also made sure he reiterated that petrino didnt know what was going on. Come on tom. Honest bob has that team on lockdown. There is no way in hell that he didnt know about this. Better watch out how far galloway gets thrown under that bus cause that might make his lips get a little loose and start telling the whole truth

These coaches that are taking the fall just need to start talking and tell what they know, and that their head coaches were well aware of what was going on. At this point, what do they have to lose.

Louisville fans on their board are still asking why this isn't a wake forest issue. IT IS A WAKE FOREST ISSUE! They are the ones whom we're wronged here. They didn't do anything wrong! Louisville and any other program that took the information are the ones wrong and that's why THEY are being called out. It's pretty simple really.

The funny thing will be if this is permanent if dismissed or just bowl game. If you are the coach, I would be getting my facts in a row and maybe a good lawyer. I think they will not fire him due to knowing too much. I say they suspend unless ACC comes in and forces.
There is no way that BP and both coordinators did not know this happened and they all used the information. It could get fun when the s$t hits the fan. I would not go down by myself. I go on record they all knew about it, OC, DC, BP. They used the information, in fact there is a play that Wake ran from what I have been told that made this really blow up. Wake ran a couple of things that the only way was if they had prior knowledge. Wake may have been breached by a lot of teams but they feel like UL and the asst. coach had detailed game plans and had access to things and most regrettable UL accepted the stuff.

When I read that, my first thought was most national media would reject it - as in, you're only saying the right thing now because you got caught. And most local media would accept it - that's right, good move, that's the Tom Jurich I know.

And I think that's how it's playing out.

Yesterday, Valvano had Bruce Feldman of Fox on his show. He said if the Oakland Raiders "Just Win Baby!" Were a college team, Tom Jurich would run it. Which was a nice, heavy hit and also funny. Then he said after saying that, a bunch of Raider fans were pissed at him for comparing them to Louisville. Which is even better.

Yeah that's hilarious. They are acting like wake is at fault. It was a loser punk who had been pissed for years because he got let go by the new staff.

Does seem a bit strange he'd hire a lawyer just for a one game suspension....

Galloway suspended for accepting information.

Jurich has already conceded that the information was also shared with other members of the staff and reviewed.

Is the other coaches' acceptance not also worthy of discipline?

This may be why Galloway has "lawyered up".

He doesn't want to go down as the scapegoat and doesn't feel as though he is getting support from U of L. He is trying to protect his career.

You think Galloway will want to stay after being thrown under the bus twice and his head coach denying all knowledge?

We will see what Galloway will allow them to put on his back before he wants out...plus ACC can still come down as well.

We are talking about Payoff U! I'm sure he got a fat check in return for paperwork ensuring he can't discuss it.
