I don't see how he is the scapegoat. The WF guy contacted Galloway (they knew each other) and Galloway accepted the information and passed it on to the DC. The WF guy only reached out to those he was friends with or worked with in the past to share the game plans.LOL

Don't understand how you don't suspend both coordinators.I don't see how he is the scapegoat. The WF guy only reached out to those he was friends with or worked with in the past to share the game plans.
Here is a posting on ESPN with quotes from Jurich. It is a shame, I know Lonnie Galloway, he is a good guy, but he screwed up. He basically has been fired, but that wont be said. He will find another job over the course of the next month or so. This story is done. More heads will roll.

Louisville announces offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway is suspended for the bowl game and is cooperating with the ACC following the Wake Forest leak scandal involving radio broadcaster Tommy Elrod. Tom Jurich said in a statement: "It is clear to me that the information should not have been shared by anyone at Wake Forest and it should not have been received by anyone at the University of Louisville. Although no one from Louisville sought the information, once it was provided, we did not do what should have been done. The information should not have been accepted. It should have been rejected and officials at Wake Forest should have been alerted to the inappropriate action taken by Mr. Elrod."
Jurich didn't care and tried to blow it off until he started getting ripped for his not caring attitude. He would have probably given Galloway a bonus had they got away with it.Here is a posting on ESPN with quotes from Jurich. It is a shame, I know Lonnie Galloway, he is a good guy, but he screwed up. They protect each other. Pitino giving his two cents on it saying that 'Jurich has integrity and always does the right thing.' Right Pitino, Jurich blowing it off till he got called on it.SPIN it Jurich! He never accepts blame, and he protects Pitno and Petrino, regardless of what happens. All three of them are pieces of ****, and need to be out of college ball, mentoring young athletes.
If Stoops keeps that bastard on the team, he is as big a piece of **** as the three at UofL. Louisville will be recruiting him if he's kicked off. he will fit in perfect at UofL.
OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!
The only thing less important than an OC under Bobby Petrino is Rick Pitino's wedding ring.
Yep. You would have to be a moron to believe Petrino had no knowledge of it. He lied like he does on everything else. But he caddied for his daughter so it's all good.Wait.
So we are to believe that the co-offensive coordinator shared the information with the defensive coaches, they prepared for some of what they saw on the WF game plan.........................and Bobby Petrino didn't know anything about it? Just a guess, but I'm assuming the head coach usually attends practice and oversees it, right?
Exactly how gullible do they think people are?
Wait.

I loathe them both[/QUOTE
Don't forget BP, the adulterer and abortionist, and the former best coach in the world and adulterer that ran off to Texas.
But the highlight of jurich's career might have been vetting Willie and declaring him worthy of a fifth chance, or was it ten.
But even that pales in comparison to hurtt, that he and Strong both had to know all about before he was hired, just win baby. And he probably would still be there if he hadn't found another job, I don't think jurich could have afforded to fire him at least he didn't when the NCAA basically told him to. But then everyone knows what a joke the NCAA is.

You keep telling yourself that bullchit.Listening to Coach Kyle Flood in SiriusXM he said it is possible Petrino didn't know. He explained it like this, that when you have an Offensive minded HC that some will just turn the defense over completely to the DC because the DC knows that side better than the offensive minded HC and kind of the same thing if you have a defensive minded HC. With Grantham making like 1.3 million a year as DC he could be basically like the defensive head coach. Now if that is the deal between Grantham and Petrino but that is just the way Kyle Flood explained that it could be.
