Thompson gassed hard. Looked like exactly the same guy, although his body looks healthier.

Jax looked incredible against Nashon. His second takedown looked questionable though, I thought it should have been 2 for Nashon, but besides that Jax looked amazing. 10-0 tech in 2:30. He'll get a chance to avenge Fix against Davino in the next session.

Robb got a reversal point against Dake! Small victories! Down 2-1 early ... two more singles makes it 4-1 after the first period. And Dake gets the 12-1 tech in the second period over Robb.

I can't believe with seconds left in the match Dustin could have moved to the center of the mat but he turns towards the edge of the mat trapping himself and Schultz shoots and there is no place for Plott to go and loses the takedown and the match.
Jax looks great even when he looks in to be in trouble, he somehow turns the table and gets points.

Wyatt looked pretty good with a tech in about 30 seconds in the quarterfinals.
Thompson really blew this match and you are right he shut down his offense after he scored 4 points in 30 seconds where he had opportunities to score but wouldn't take risk and ended up losing a match. He would not have gotten past Zahid who teched Heller quickly. Thompson has a chance in wrestle backs and maybe wrestle, Heller again. I hope Thompson comes back with strength.
