U.S. Open SPS Pool Thread

Hey everybody, we’re still a couple weeks away from Oakmont, but I wanted to check interest in running another $25/entry pool for it.

I also wanted to try to do something for our buddy tenure here, and for those that don’t want to take part, no judgment at all. However, here’s my thought. Whatever entry money we get, 1st place will take half. The other half will go to tenure’s fund, and I’ll match whatever it is.

Again, no one needs to feel obligated, but y’all let me know who’s interested, and I’ll get it set up!

We ended up with 12 entered, so the final pot is $300. As mentioned from the beginning, it’ll be split so that $150 goes to the winner and $150 to Tenure.

Thanks to everyone for participating, and good luck. Anyone that picked Spaun has a leg up right now, but my bet is that we’ll have a leader around even par tomorrow, and the cut may be dang near +10. This course is a monster

This should be a fun finish. With the cut shifting to +7 at the last minute yesterday, a lot of big names that were sweating it ended up making through the weekend, and we've got 10 of 12 entries that still have at least 4 players remaining in contention.

Right now, the Top 5 is dominated with people that rolled with either Spaun or Burns, but I think we'll see a lot of movement today.

Well, I had hope after day two but alas I think I’m toast!

After watching the first 9 holes today, I never would’ve thought that I’d hang on, but that was a hell of a finish from Spaun.

It was a fun weekend, and I wanted to let everyone know that the pot was just sent to tenure to help with his continued recovery. Thanks for everyone’s support in doing things a little differently this time, and we’ll keep it rolling in a few weeks at the British.
