U.S. Open week. Who ya got?

Rickie. I'm heading up to Wisconsin next month to play there as well as the Whistling Straits courses and the Blackwolf Run courses. Then going down to play Milwaukee CC and Blue Mound although Blue Mound looks iffy at the moment. Erin Hills looks pretty special.
If Tiger isn't going to play I'll take Fowler....if el Tigre shows up he wins going away[cheers]
I'm picking him because he's #1 on Tour in total driving (distance and accuracy) and is 3rd on Tour in birdies. Plus, I like the guy.
I played Milwaukee CC in the 2008 US Mid. Let me know what you think. It was in great shape but I didn't really think that much of the aesthetics of the course.
It will be my first time there. I'm a fan of the classics and it doesn't get any more classic than Colt.
I played Quail Hollow last week. They can tip it out at 7700 which for those guys isn't that long. I didn;t play it back there but if I had, not sure i would've broken 90. geens were hard and rolling 13. The asst I played with said the club's goal is even par winning. Greens will be 15 for the event. Cool place.
We were supposed to play there several years ago in the Viginia's/Carolinas team matches. QH pulled out. Old town, in Winston salem, took it.
I shot 75, same score I shot at brown deer, so I will give you a target to shoot at. Milwaukee is the hardest course in Wisc. to get on.
He could have won the Masters and always plays well in the US Open. Years ago, I picked both Payne Stewart and Kaymer to win. I think it's more about who has been playing well lately. That's why I did not pick Speith. It's also hard to defend.
I was reading a thing about Speith being s little under the radar and that he leads the PGA in approach shots and his iron play is really solid.

I could actually like golf if you all incorporated something like that. Make it happen.
IMO, only sport I can play better the more beers I drink. How does that not make you give it a chance at least

That's about all it is to me. My recreation is the dream becoming reality, and now being a high school level OC. My spare time is determining how I can get more helmets to the line of scrimmage where I'm running the ball than the DC across the field from me.
Stupid maybe.....but I never really understood why a wishbone backfield doesn't play anymore.....as more hybrid TE type players and small receivers like Austin seem to be bridging between two positions?
Not quite wishbone, but we're making up our own formation. Power I in shotgun, with 2 TE's 2 yards off the tackles. I have a bruiser for a fullback, and 2 6'2" twins. JV can only have up to 15 year olds, so all three of these boys can more than hold their own. I can pass, run inside, and run outside out of that. I haven't even mentioned the option plays. That's going to be my specialty formation. We're typically a spread offense.
Looks like Rickie might make it happen....at least out the gate, he looks like it's coming together well
