Lilledahl was named outstanding wrestler. Anyone know how big he is -is he cutting a lot of weight, for instance, and can he wrestle at 125 this fall as Davis appears to be moving up to 133? He obviously did well-anyone want to report impressions of him and others who are at PSU or are committed? Who else was the most impressive? thank youl

Maybe I missed something, but why do we assume Davis is moving up to 133? If that is the case, he is probably redshirting.

It’s been mentioned that the cut to 125 is tough for him. He also just wrestled at 61kg at this event.

I get it, but we also heard the cut to 157 last year was tough for Haines and……he just won a title at 157.

Clearly, I have no inside information re Davis but several times on this site it has been mentioned that Davis would be most likely be moving up to 133-heck some 18 or 19 year olds are still growing. And cutting weight sucks. So it will be curious how the weights stack up next fall-we will not hear much from Cael re that but we should hear in May-i would hope if Carter and Kerk are coming back. There is a recruiting/eligibility chart on the top of this page and I do not know its accuracy but Davis is listed at 133 for 2024 to 2025 season. And most everyone thinks that Haines will move up next season as keeping his weight at 157 is so tough (Carter mentioned this in his interview). So stay tuned and we will see how it works outl

Yeah. I don’t know that you’ll get many people to say “100% Davis is moving up” this far out. It does seem like a strong possibility he does at least.

Besides the guys who competed this weekend, who else on the roster are eligible to compete for the U20 world team spot the first weekend in June?
I would think Kasak, Haines and Mesenbrink would be some of the big names.

Lilledahl doesn't do one thing outstanding but man he just works. A lot of Nolf in him. Just grind and grind and wear down your opponent.
