13-0 against Marcu of Moldova
10-0 against Abramov of Ukraine

He tweaked his knee in the second match but got back at it in less than a minute.

Semi will be against Mukaida of Japan. Mukaida just had a shootout against Georgia's Zangaladze, who Kozak picked to get bronze.

I thought he was at 65 and beat Blaze?
Jax faces Asan while Blaze lost to Sharip who just lost in the semis so Blaze will not be pulled back in. I learned something today. At first I thought Uulu was one heck of a wrestling family in Krygyzstan because they have at least two on this team and have had many on their Sr team over the years. Turns out Uulu is a suffix that means “son of”. So Jax will face Asan son of Omurbek in the finals.

Believe me many have thought that and it's been happening for awhile 🤣

That was the most nervous I’ve ever been for a tech fall lol
The Japanese wrestler was very quick and the match was close until the last takedown and he got his opponent off balanced and exposed and exposed and the match is over. In this same match his slide by's are so explosive that the wrestler from Japan was flung forward and landed on the top of his head totally out of control. Jax rips those slide by's where they are violent. He is great on top with exposures and quick with his shots especially ankle picks. He should be an all-time great for the Cowboys with good fortune.

Jax looked good was getting worried when he kept staying on his knees but he made the adjustment. It's gotta be hard for him because it works with his length and back hook 99% of the time. Good in match adjustments he's special

Yes, his opponent was quick and powerful. With his leg strength he could drive right over Jax. But Jax adjusted, got takedowns and exposures to pull out a very tough match. Very impressive.
Jax is already one of the best in the world and he is probably weaker than most of the guys he's wrestled in his last 2 tournaments. Once he gets some man strength I think he'll be unstoppable.

I hadn’t seen this posted but it’s great stuff if you haven’t come across it. Jax is super humble but the adrenaline opened up a side of him I hadn’t heard before. He truly wants to be one of the 🐐’s. Seems focused and hungry. There’s also a great 5 minute Lee Roper interview on USA wrestling’s YouTube page also. Pretty sure he’s my spirit animal 😂

Here's Coach Roper's interview. Watch it, it's like getting a hug lol. Seems like such a stand up guy, good influence & role model, running the logistics of taking athletes around the world to compete, on top of the wrestling acumen. Coach Dad!

Roper is a genuine guy. If you are ever near him say hello and ask a few questions he loves to chop it up with wrestling people
