Meanwhile, our starters can't get out of the 3rd inning. Their bullpen is in great shape, if they even need to use it tomorrow.

Oh I agree with that. But it's been a consistent theme all season
No matter how great your bullpen is, it's hard to win when your starters can't go even 5 innings on a consistent basis. Only having 16 wins from our starters this year is a pathetic stat.

I believe his inference to our hitters....errr.....I mean batters not getting this guy out of the game was the problem. Yes, the team made 4 errors, but you got to have hitters that can overcome those plays and our guys did not. it is amazing to me that this team won 45 games as putrid as they are at times at the plate. And yes I know about all the stats and where MSU ranks in the SEC in hitting, but there are some things that aren't kept as official stats, and one of them seems to be the giveashitstatmeter from the looks of tonight's effort.
