Does anyone know of a decent UCLA board?

The only one that I came across that is active, was their Scout forum. One small thread about our matchup, and they said "I hear they have a bunch of mullets", and "they have a good bull pen, but not nearly as good at setup and closer as us".

Sound like an arrogant bunch. I would expect nothing less from a bunch of West Coasters

One of the things I've enjoyed the most is talking crap with other fanbases and being right. Every. Single. Time.

Fake tits, cocaine, fast cars, hookers, daddy's money, and plastic.

Won't get much out of that bunch.

I've been searching for awhile. I'm getting crickets. Are we really going to play for a NC and not be able to **** talk the opponent? UCLA is sad. Too busy worrying about the Lakers I guess or how to afford fake titties for their wives.

My cousin in LA was out last night in his MS hat. I doubt anyone out there even knew what it meant.

A lot of stuff to do in LA...college baseball is probably pretty much an afterthought for majority.

They just aren't going to have many fans that keep up with the baseball team. I only have one UCLA fan in my office that watches their football games, but he is far more into the Dodgers come baseball season. I had to remind him that UCLA was even in the CWS. Its definitely a pro sports town here. Bruin baseball is on the same level (in terms of fan support) as their volleyball teams.

UCLA's fans remind me of the Florida Marlins fans when they won the 2003 World Series. Cubs and Red Sox fans would have given anything just to get there, and Marlins fans could have cared less when they won the whole thing. Then again, I guess I might have a different reaction to sports if I lived in a beautiful beach city like Miami or LA.

UCLA's BB fanbase is largely friends and family.....

They already have 108 NCAA NCs. 108!! That's an average of about one a year since the NCAA came into existence. They participate in umpteen million sports. They are from LA and I don't mean lower alabama. Baseball for them is just part of the background noise.

Wikipedia shows that they play at Jackie Robinson Stadium (sounds like a great tribute) that seats 1,872 - in the second largest media market in the country. State averages more than 5x that for a regular season game. If they can't pull more in that market then you have to wonder what kind of support they will really have at baseball games.

I saw one game there last season, it's a little ways off campus in the middle of VA hospital parking lots. The campus itself is really nice though. The local paper today only had a short AP story about the CWS that barely made the front page. It would be a shame to lose to a school whose fanbase has such little interest in the baseball program.

2 more now.

Love this one. MSU is quite inferior and did not play anywhere near the level of competition they did.

They don't seem very knowledgeable about anything other than THEIR team. You see several comments like, "I feel confident because we are clicking and seem to be peaking at the right time", which shows they haven't even considered their opponent and if they can say the same.

Also, they think they are freaking unhittable. We shall see. I'm not saying we can't be shut down by a pitching staff, but we are AVERAGING 12 hits per game since the Super Regionals started. We only have 2 everyday starters hitting below .324 in the NCAA Tournament right now...and that's CT (.176) and Ammo (.100).

Also, we are 15-3 in one run games, so we know how to win a low scoring tight ball game if that's what ends up happening.

Will be an interesting series.

I remember years ago UCLA participated in a regional at Dudy Noble. They brought some fans with them who were friendly and seemed to enjoy the experience.
