I can’t stand UCLA’s smug attitude. We are up 3-0, we are so good….that didn’t last very long. If they are going to beat LSU, they have to hit it out of the infield.

I was right there with ya, probably within a few feet. 17ing umps waited until our pitcher literally couldn’t grip the ball and had to lob one over the plate. Many hours later, play resumed. There was a whorn tw@t sandwich fan that thought he was hot shìt and mugged for the camera that probably never even caught his elongated forehead on camera.

2nd game vs TX
Our second game vs Virginia had a little rain right before the comeback but not enough to stop play.

We were leaving Omaha that night after the game. I put off booking a hotel because wasn’t sure I could make it to KC if the game ended late. So started checking for rooms around 11pm and could not find anything for less than $500. I’d be damned if I was going to spend that much for a few hours of sleep. Had to call and beg. Found a single bed microtel just south of Omaha. Reminded me of a dorm room. Seems like we got there around 2-3am. Wife & kids slept in the bed and I slept in a chair. Good times, lol

A small, hot, baked sweet potato in each pocket was great for early morning deer hunting. They would help keep you warm. In other words, An organic hand warmer for you hippy types. Then provide you with a good lunch. Life was good!
