Well all 800 of them made it. Mark Few, Dan Hurley, and Nate Oats stay at your high schools we will get there on our own.

More ESPN media hype. More ''new blood'' marketing BS. They say they're bigger than UK. But their title and title game were overshadowed by our job search. Still are. Their admin is sweating UK coming at Hurley with 11 plus million.

UCONN fans have to be the luckiest SOB's alive. 6 titles in 25 years, with a fanbase that looks like Temple just made the tournament.
That's probably the secret to winning 6 chips in 25 years. If that's all the fans there to celebrate there must not be too much pressure to win.
We would have more people at the airport welcoming the team back that evening!

I was at the 2014 Final Four in Houston and I didn’t see a single UCONN fan.
I swear I was told the NCAA paid some locals to dress as fans to not embarrass the product.

You’re right, my conjecture is much more silly than the assurance that the only thing influencing the mind of the most successful coach atm is geographical location.
You all do realize they have a Championship Celebration Parade planned for SATURDAY. This was just impromptu event tonight. They announced their plans this morning for the Parade and it'll be in Hartford.

It would be when you consider there is literally NO advantage UConn has over Kentucky but location. I would also argue that the advantages Kentucky has over UConn isn’t even close

UConn is in a town that would be like the 8th largest or so in Kentucky. Mansfield has less than 30k people.
Not sure why but the entirety of the story is that they are planning to honor/celebrate the team on Saturday. This could be impromptu--but I'm not making up when they are planning to honor their team. Are they in Spring Break still? I don't have a clue what goes on but heard an interview with Josh Pastner tonight talking about UK job being open and he repeatedly mentioned "Just can't see Hurley leaving" and added " with the celebration planned for Saturday....." and he spoke that he thinks Scott Drew will be the HC--as have most of the media and thought he'd be a great hire for UK.
Pastner is really good on TV/Radio. He was very complimentary of the program and what Kentucky means to the CBB world and how appealing it was for most coaches but in Hurley's situation he stated it would make little to no sense. He was then asked about Drew and said timing seems to be lining up and talk at Final Four was that he'd take it if offered.

if you watch the parade video from last year’s championship the crowd was a lot bigger than this. I expect the majority of the fans will show up for the parade

In Hartford, some 27 miles away. Imagine having to go to another city to get your biggest crowd.
