Cam Spencer is absolutely touching Indiana.
He's torching Indiana?

Cam must think he still plays for RU? Ron Jr approves

How can that be??? There are people here who told us he won’t produce against P5 competition . . . 🤣🤣
Yeah, we need to be faster and get up and down the court quicker so that through the first five games of the season we could score 7 less ppg. against similar competition.

I dont hold ill will be aise thats the climate today....tough to pass up $$$ and opportunity to play for defending national champion
And he was losing minutes to Derek Simpson the last six games on a team that didn't even make the tournament. Also, he thought UCONN would better prepare him for a pro career, as did our first Omoruyi think Oregon would better prepare him for a pro career, and they did.

Let’s not go that far on Gene. This staff deserves a lot of credit for his development too. To his credit, he was a hard worker and tough as hell.

Weird points by Chow. It’s not like the staff ran Cam off. They wanted him here and were counting on him to be a big part of this year’s team when he left late for a better offer that he couldn’t refuse. It happens these days.

If Cam left only for money he would have come back to Pike for a counter offer. He did not. He left mostly for basketball reasons. He has said so much since he left.

Probably a combo but if you think money wasn’t a big factor, you’re naive. My point is that the defending national champs + a big bag of money was insurmountable. You obviously have an agenda against this staff for whatever reason or you just enjoy arguing over nothing.

The only thing that Cam did wrong was the lateness. Don’t know what Paul was thinking.

It was a factor. I said that. As far as having an agenda against the staff, no way. I've only referred to what I saw on the court the last six games last year, and what kids have said after they left. Omoruyi said he couldn't believe how much basketball he learned at Oregon and Spencer said UCONN would better prepare him for a pro career. I didn't make any of that up - no agenda, and I'm not arguing either.

Whatever man, your posts over time suggest otherwise. And every guy always blows smoke up the butt of their new place.

My posts over time suggest? What a weakling statement. At least bring up a specific so I have something to defend.

Very odd take.

Last 6 games:
35.0 min, 16.0 pts (5.5/11.2 FG, 2.3/4.8 3P), 5.0 rb, 2.7 ast, 1.0 stl, 0.2 blk, 0.8 tov, 2.3 pf

Preceding games:
30.7 min, 12.6 pts (4.2/9.7 FG, 2.1/4.9 3P), 3.6 rb, 3.2 ast, 2.3 stl, 0.1 blk, 1.5 tov, 1.8 pf

Not sure how getting more minutes, more shots, more rebounds, and a better ast/tov ratio is somehow "losing positional minutes".

Simpson was cutting into Mulcahy's minutes running the point, and pushing him to the wing - he wasn't cutting into anything having to do with Spencer.

Sounds a lot better than “I came here because they paid me a bunch of money.”

Cam was very good as a spot up shooter, he was not good at creating a shot for himself or driving to the basket. If he was having an off night, he could not drive effectively. His defense was not good, he was good at getting steals I will give him, mostly from behind. That being said, I will absolutely take him leaving and giving GG his play time this year bc it will make him that much better next year. GG is able to create a shot for himself and will end up better defensively than Cam was.

Last time I checked part of going to college is about business, get a degree . Get a good job or into a good grad school

Totally agree. But it’s also about so much more. That’s why I said “all”. Cam was hired gun. Free agent. If fans like you view him the same as others have at it. I don’t agree.

All these players are hired guns
