Just watching the game and how does teams get returning players and we get all the players that go pro no matter what I just don't get it. Cal I know is going to get blamed but some go and never make it

Players who are bad to merely ok in their freshman season turn pro because that's what they want. Cal recruits players who want to go to the NBA as soon as possible. And that's the understanding to those who maybe even change their mind. There is a whole new crop of players waiting in the wings. This case, there are 6 commits ready to replace the exodus.

Because every year UConn loses out on Top 20 high school guys and those players think they have a guarantee ticket to the NBA after a year in college REGARDLESS how that year went.
