Looking at the positives, it is a good opportunity for some guys to step up. At least two RB's and a safety will get a chance to show their stuff. And hopefully these two can get healed up, dont need injuries that linger all year which may be the case and we know how that works out.

It lets the other guys on the field to see what they have to offer. Bryant and Kalu have one less game of wear and tear on them. It's a patsy so we will be fine.

More concerned about Kalu than Bryant, although safety play was steady against Oregon after his injury.

Come on...we are not really trying to jock up NIU right now, are we? The fact that NU is -12.5 at home vs a non-power 5 school...well...that speaks volumes.

That whole mindset of a team being a "patsy" grinds me. The reality is Nebraska hasnt been good enough to call anyone a patsy. Respect your opponent, even if it is lowly Appalaction State.

Bryant and Kalu are out Saturday.
don't need them. probably should rest more of the starters in september every year regardless if injured or not. could probably win the next 3 games without any of the starters. the division looks down too

Uh oh...it appears the team might have a case of the *****.
The women's soccer team should have been in quarantine. They had tomorrow's game with Iowa moved on Tuesday. Apparently the girls licked all the forks at the training table... or licked something else. Maybe we should just let Lincoln High play NIU. No need to have any of our first 3 strings in there against the D1 team coming in (with a history of knocking off Big10 teams in the recent past under their current head coach).

I am surprised they moved the game.

I agree, get the Lynx in there! They are rocking it this year.

Karel and Stovel as the backup safeties? What happened to K. Williams and Dismuke?

Thought I heard Gary Sharp say this morning that there was a bug going around the locker room. Are all of our players sick?
