That list of questions did it. And Bounds probably threw a tantrum.

Maybe Stans blew them off to get ready for the big Sidney is eligible press conference.

/wishful thinking
//he would only get about four minutes a game
///and those would be Osby's minutes

It's idiotic for any coach (any sport) to take direct questions from dumbass fans over a radio show. Most fans know about 0.00001% of what they are talking about. And the threads on here prove that. Stans (or ANY coach, that includes Crooms, Sherrill, Mullen, Cohen, etc) has absolutely nothing to gain from doing it. There's a reason why the Q&A "call-in" shows like Sherrill used to do from Harvey's are so ridiculous and usually only have questions from 8-year olds.

I remember one call in show when Cut was coach and I think it was Eli's JR year and he had struggled pretty badly, and a caller asked if Cut thought about bringing in Spurlock for a couple of series to change things up because Spurlock would give the Ole Miss offense more variety.

I remember after watching Spurlock in the Memphis game in 2004 wondering if that caller was happy now. Especially that pass that went over Flowers' head by approximately 20 feet and landed 15 rows up.

It is your constitutional right to spread internet rumors.

Most of the rumors that are spread here are lies. Do you think there may be some limits on the lies you can tell about people?

most respect from me for Sherrill was his willingness to take phone calls RIGHT AFTER a game, win or lose. Took some real cajones to man up and do that. Of course, will admit, that didn't work so well when we totally went in the tank those last couple of years. But one thing about Sherrill is he did things like that a lot of coaches wouldn't dream of doing to stay connected with the fanbase.

only 0.00001% of those same fans know that they don't know what they are talking about.

count me in the 0.00001%...but damn it i still like to talk about it.

I'll agree with everybody but Crooms. Plenty of football fans know things he should learn, like (1) recruiting is important (2) Omar is not a pocket passer (3) don't be a fatass.

I actually didn't know wtf you guys were talking about, then saw it was a radio show.

Stansbury should be called out on whatever dumbass thing he does/doesn't do. And be praised publicly when done well.

They listen to the shows where the host is cocky, acts above you, thinks he knows it all, and is wrong often.

Can I be part of your inner-circle? I mean if you had to change your handle you're obviously someone very important, so I should take everything you say to be 100% fact, right? Ooohh I wish I knew who you were!!!!

Was that the response you were looking for?

How many people listen to that waste of frequency? I'm not sure the VENT has but six or seven people that actually listen to the show.

The Mixed Martial Arts update their biggest feature, so you know its bad.
