They have secured additional lower level seating for the Taxslayer Bowl to meet high demand. As of yesterday they had sold their initial 8,000 ticket allotment.

There might be more UK fans in Atlanta than there are GT fans in the entire state of Georgia. UK is really big down there. GT fans were kidding themselves.

Are we the home side? When you look at tickets on Ticketmaster, the whole upper deck of the home side is still for sale. I just hope those fill up much better over the next 3 weeks.
If you order through UK today, you'll get lower level seats for $85. Just do a price compare with what else is out there. Anything under $85 for lower-level is a discount.

Ticket sales through UK give us a favorable stat to entice additional bowl bids in future years. "We sold out our allotment in x days and received more and quickly sold out of those too ... we will travel to your city in big numbers." Purchases by UK fans through other outlets are more difficult to quantify.
I hear that but a lot of the tickets are gone to brokers and what not already, the important thing is what the actual attendance is and are they mainly UK fans. I bet the Gator Bowl will be highly pleased on both counts.
