You realize the topic of the thread is Louisville/Kentucky recruiting on NSD week
Yeah and you have pretty much hijacked the thread into your own toot the Looserville horn.

Go start the thread on your board and let's see how friendly and reasonable your posters will be to UK fans who come to talk about UK.

Maybe I need to refer to you in all the personal derogatory comments about typical UK fans that you all say about us. Would you get the un welcomed message then.

A couple of things...my post in this thread was mainly in response from Kentucky fans on what is going on our end...and also again I don't talk bad about Kentucky neither here or on the Louisville board...not my style...what I do get accused of is being passive aggressive but that is mainly in response when it get a little testy. Also, I only control how I act...not in control on how other Louisville poster conduct themselves and I'm sure it is the same with many on here...Kentucky fans are not responsible for the actions of other Kentucky fans.

Trayvon Mullen's mom says that Louisville not in her sons top three. Clemson, FSU, and LSU. She wants him to attend FSU.

Thanks...that answers that question...we will find out later today the status of Dez Fitzpatrick...on the CB front it actually comes down if they get Fitzpatrick back and get Pie Young...if they do don't be surprised if 4* Verbal Commit Chris Taylor-Yomanoha switches to CB once he arrives on campus. A lot of schools recruited him as a CB instead of WR

But they go back to their board with all your respectful and balanced interactions and dog you, us, our players, coaches and program out to the fullest. Your just feeding them fodder to use to go back and spread the hate.
You know what?

I can't worry about what people say on other boards.

That's what THEIR mods do.

If people want to come over here and post and are respectful to us, then that's all I care about.

I definitely would be on my best behavior if I were visiting another board because I'd want to represent our fan base with class.

On this board I'll post with a little more attitude toward our rivals.

Kentucky is going to have the higher rated class. With my red goggles on, I can say that there is not much difference in classes ranked 20-40, and I'm comforted by CBP's track record developing lower ranked guys. Take the goggles off, and I would really like some outstanding o line recruits. That is the real difference here, and a potential game changer down the road.

id agree. the reason i like our class so much better is the oline group mainly. it's not often that you get 3 sure fire starters in an oline class at UK. and then the 4th recruit probably projects well to play by his rs soph year.

That is huge for the Wildcats...that is the difference between the SEC and other P5 leagues is upfront. The OL commits to go with George AA from last year is a great start

Very true...and pretty much make the case for Wiggins...was committed to Miami in February 2015...and the situation changed when Golden was let go...the whole conversation was about Louisville lost Burns and it appears if it comes to pass this weekend they are going to get a comparative replacement from South Florida....a disagreement with Pike.

Now I like Burns better because of his length but luckily for Louisville they already have a CB Commit already enrolled in Walker who is 6-3 that had offers from Mississippi State and Arizona State among others.
When Golden was let go, UL gained Teddy Bridgewater and a host of other recruits from Miami!
I hope that happens a gain and UL just garnered Fitzpatrick.

This thread really hasn't been bad...weekend before signing day between two of the Commonwealth P5 programs. Been informative on both sides and what makes College Football interesting in the offseason.

Yes, Agreed! I like this site because basically except for a few UL fans is much more informative than the Card site... and rightly so! Uk is in the vaunted SEC and ample in FB news, 'nough said!

Hedley, I hand it to UK for recruiting that great O-Line class. UK always does well on the O-line department! I'd trade ours for theirs in a moment! And Hedley normally CBP waits until after NSD and goes after JuCo and what's left over and does rather well.

I started this thread and have initiated much of the back and forth with TPE around what is going on in their class. the feedback has been very informative as he obviously follows their recruiting closely.

some info has clearly been with red tinted glasses but that is to be expected and ridiculed in a respectful manner : ). I for one am more than happy to engage in civil dialogue and TPE has definitely operated in that manner. all fan bases have their completely delusional and idiotic fans. But the folks interacting in this thread for the most part have done it the right way. I'm good with that...

Agree with this completely. Plus Young is a coveted prototype NFL left tackle that you can plug in from day one. UK just doesn't get guys like that. Just like most of the rest of college football don't. other that the blue bloods, almost everyone else has to take a guy that projects well and create that kind of LT talent. That alone is enough to get you majorly excited about this class for UK. Especially so after all the games we've seen over the years where our Tackles look like revolving doors ushering through SEC Dend's...

Young and George AA are going to be nice bookends for Kentucky

Interesting tidbit...now the Ohio State people are now thinking Burns might be flipping back to Louisville...LMBO...This time of year is crazy.

On our end it was huge to get Fitzpatrick back-(looks like Young is Southern Cal bound). It allows the staff to place Chris Taylor-Yamanhoa at CB...that is the position he told reporters back in September he wanted to play

GAA will be inside at guard. Natural position for him.

That I didn't know....it does make sense and it is good to be athletic inside...was thinking RT with him

Nope. GAA is a guard all the way and should be very good one. Tate Leavitt, the 4 star Juco with offers from Bama, Auburn, okla, etc is earmarked for RT. He's built as the mauler that fits that spot.

Interesting about Burns. Wonder if he already feels like he's being recruited over.

That is what the vibe is apparently with Burns...but it can be just to build up suspense for Wednesday as well.

What threw me off with George AA was I did catch some games with him at Tackle but I can see him being a Guard....hopefully for you the new Larry Warford

TPE, I guess you're happy to see LT moving on. I always wondered what happened between him and George. Maybe you can share now? (On the other board). How is GR doing?

Let just say the family here is very happy Lamar is Gone from Louisville. No sour grapes on my part in regards to Mr. Thomas leaving Louisville-(and for Kentucky fans I had a problem with him since late January 2014).

GR is doing fine...his Grandmother had some health issues the past few years though.

Feel both local schools fanbases came out fairly happy...no defections for the Wildcats and like the fact that even though Green was a academic No Go they rebounded nicely with Iakopo-(#2 JuCo Safety according to some services) that has 3 years to play 4.

Did get a laugh with Rivals ranking of Gary McCrae...went from a 3/4* Recruit in 2015 when he committed to Georgia but didn't qualify...next year even with offers from Michigan State and Mississippi State became a "5.4" recruit...same thing happened to James Sample when he went to JuCo...it is what it is...also 3 years to play 4 player.
