you have to ignore the stupid comments like that. Pope is a great coach and motivator. you don't set or tie the UK records that were set or tied last year if not.

Honestly... no. At least so far, I'm just not seeing the hallmarks of a team that will seriously contend for a title. The Purdue game seems like fool's gold at this point... and/or Purdue was vastly overrated. But it's early, and we haven't seen our actual team yet with so many guys dinged up. So hopefully we get healthy and we end up looking way better soon. I just don't know how optimistic I should be that this will come to pass.

They are letting this Nicholls team honestly play with us. I understand we are up by 19 but we look so sloppy. Letting that team blow by us I thought we would be more athletic this year I’m just not seeing it.

Williams and Jelavic nowhere near ready. Pope can't be Mr nice guy and just play them no matter what.

yeah, I’m thinking the refs feel like they can’t call them all?

I mean, Nicholls reaches and hacks at the ball every drive and every rebound. I’m not saying they are fouling every time, but they cannot be doing it clean that much either…

I don't think a lack of effort is what happened this half. We just shot the ball horribly. Which........happens. Better to have happened in one half vs Nichols, a team we are going to beat by 25+ anyways vs next week vs UL. And this game won't have any bearing on that one.

The concerning part is, it's not just the first half of this game, we looked this bad in 40 minutes against unranked Georgetown too. We had nothing for Georgetown, they owned us for all 40 minutes.
