I can already tell that force-feeding the ball to Garrison 20 feet from the basket is going to irritate me all season. I hope it's not a continuing thing. He can be a serviceable big but he's not Amari Williams.

Idk if he can even be a serviceable big. Just looks lost out there to me. Takes too long to make decisions, then when he finally does, it’s the wrong one about 7/10 times.

I think UK is 1/7 on threes and 1/4 from the foul line and still up 8-2. So at least we can't complain about the defense at the moment.

The D hasn’t even been that great… Nicholls is just awful. They are hustling their butts off, but they’re awful. If we were playing Georgetown again we’d be down by 8 right now.

Pope knows we look a lot better with Aberdeen and others in the lineup. These two games are great time to train backups.

Hoping this is the rationale. Pope knows he's got two PGs and wants to try and create some depth with early season XP.

I don’t doubt Noah’s shooting ability. The problem is neither does our opponents, and they currently have no reason to leave him open on defense to worry about anyone else we have on the floor. So Noah gets very few open looks, which makes him fairly invisible out there.
