Terrible loss today. Ohio St. is 50 on Torvik and 64 on WAB (wins above bubble) 2 metrics the NCAA now uses. They are 32 in the NET, better but still a game you shouldn't lose.

We play like we did tonight and did at some points against UL and we won't be worrying about seeding lol. We'll be lucky to get a 6. I just don't see any next level talent that can carry us in what's gonna be a hellacious SEC. I hope I'm wrong but I can see 11 or 12 losses and an 8 seed. Somehow we scrapped to those Duke and Zag wins..Thank God.

How many times out of 10 would we beat OSU ?? I’m not sure what to think about it, quite frankly. We’re capable, of course, of beating teams, but quickness and aggressiveness is a problem for us.

I truly do not care. How many more time will we play our trash game this season? Because that’s most of what I’ve watched for nearly a month.
I understand but we also got to understand that this is Pope’s first year. He put together a team within 7 months a team that’s 10-2 right now. We have to give him more than 2 months to get this thing going Cal really had us in the dumpster!!!

You can't shoot 31% and only take 21 threes.
Even if you shoot 25% from three, but shoot 30 of them, you score more.
The one caveat is that our driving/shots inside the arc were an engine for generating fouls. The line was the only thing that kept us within 20 points for the whole game.

I am, however, not opposed to generating more looks from 3.

Kentucky will now be 0-3 against OSU in this event. That's completely unacceptable.

It's one thing to lose, but getting manhandled pert near the whole game is another. A bunch of 22/23 year olds should not be out hustled, but this has been a common theme the past few games.

Kentucky has been losing the majority of the Duke, Clemson, Gonzaga, and now OSU games. Pope has let this "dig a hole" crap go on too long. I believe he is a good coach, but his inability to address this so far, as well as the team playing down to the opponent's level, is concerning for the post-season.

The season is far from over, but there are some aspects of this team that have not yet improved or look to be getting worse. I think (and hope) Pope can whip some sense in the guys.

Auburn will beat uk by 30 and pearl will enjoy every second of it
Say what you want but Pearl is a good coach and motivates his players. They 100% will be looking to embarrass Pope and UK and I’m thinking they will. Auburn is legit probably the best team in the nation even with Broome out.

I’ll never figure out throwing in Perry and Chandler in the game. I understand here at scrap time but not leaving Noah on the bench. Played well against Colgate in small minutes and hasn’t sniffed the floor since. Better shooter and more physical than both.

I've got family in Ohio who are all Buckeye fans. A few cousins who are Ohio State grads. Frustrating loss because I'd guarantee not one of them, or even 99% of Buckeye nation for that matter, had any idea they had (and just won) a huge basketball game.

Glad I turned off early in the first half. Could tell we were not playing good at all. I turned over to Texas game and helped with cooking stuff for Christmas. Just checked in here and have not seen the score. I am guessing at least a 10 point loss?

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas or Happy Holiday (if you have other holiday beliefs). Do not let on horrible game define the season but some worrisome trends have reared their heads since the Gonzaga game. UK got work to do and can do it.

Knowing how they planned to play us would help a lot if we played them again. They executed what they wanted to do to perfection. Pretty much everything went their way today. It’s not like that every day.

What i hate the most is that Bradshaw had a better game than probably all but maybe 1 game for UK last year.

Glad you had your superbowl, you were useless for us.

So how do you celebrate this game if you are an Ohio State and Kentucky fan? Yell, LFG, and then throw your TV out the window?

Cuss, moan, throw your TV out the window, but run outside to catch it before it hits the ground? Drop it on a stack of pillows?

That’s a big concern for sure . You can’t live by getting behind in the second half and having to make a come back . It’s going to bite you in the *** more times than not .

We just simply do not have the talent to win games when everything breaks into a mosh pit. Next year’s players will be more dynamic. Almost every player on our team is a specialist. Today we looked like a team built completely out of the portal

Merry Christmas to you as well. Good advice. I probably should have turned it off too. This game got my blood pressure up. This game was easily winnable.

Pope built this team during the spring. We'll go into SEC play 11-2. I can live with that.

Still, a brutally, poorly executed game all around by the Cats. Pope and his staff need to break down every second of this game with each player. The days of going through the motions and beating non-blue blood teams every night by 20 is over in the era of NIL.

Obviously did not see the same energy tonight we saw against Duke and Gonzaga. Very disappointing but that’s life, now how does the team handle it is the question. Really need to adjust to tempo, our guys seemed really disinterested with a physical slow it down type game..

Wow … did not see that coming. Just think how Auburn blitzed them.
Auburn is way more physical and a lot more quick, fast guards are going to get around our guards and make our bigs help out, if someone doesn’t drop down to help we will get eaten up inside all year

Looks like I picked the right game to not be able to watch in it's entirety. I maybe only saw 10 minutes of game action. Oof! Hopefully that was our bad shooting game. We need a scorer or two when the 3's aren't falling. We don't have that guy(s). We aren't aggressive enough either and have a hard time stopping dribble penetration.
