Have you watched this game? To blame the way we’re playing on the refs is horrible.
Having shooters is good but I can’t wait to have a few athletes that can guard their man. We need some speed bad.
This Ohio state team is not a good team at all
14 for 46 while Ohio St is 28 for 47. Free throws keeping this from being a laugher. Our D sucks.
We’re losing this one today. Just didn’t have the answers. But all the doomsayers already writing off any SEC success need to understand that good teams and coaches adjust from games like this. It’s an eye opener for the players and coaches. You’re just used to 15 years of a guy who never opened his eyes.
Find a way to get it to 5 with 3 to go and put the pressure on them
Auburn, Tennessee, Bama, Florida at the least are better.
As soon as we run into a “slow the pace” type of team we’re in trouble. We are not built to get into fist fights with teams, too loose and not enough physicality. Seems like that’s been our problem for a while

Refs have been fine. I mean they're never truly good, but we've gotten plenty of calls.
They did, but Pope doesn't seem to be able to hold guys accountable. I have to think that Amari is going to see less and less time.
The SEC is gonna get ugly real quick. I was optimistic on 5 losses. If they come out like this in league they’ll be lucky to get 5 wins.
This has been coming for awhile. They have been playing at half speed for weeks now and getting by with it. This time the other team is hitting everything they throw up and UK can't make the comeback.

2 things -- 1) hated .. HATED the forcing of playing an extended player rotation in the first half when Tosu got ahead ( and stay ahead ) We have ZERO .. ZERO ZERO ZERO business playing T Perry and Chandler .. dudes are not ready . They shouldn't be inserted . PERIOD . 2) What happened to pushing the offensive possessions and getting up lots of threes ?? we have slowed down to a grind We dont seem to be looking for early offense anymore
This team is good, but every team will play us physical now and make us rush shots. We will really struggle in some games. I am concerned that this team might fall apart going through the SEC meat grinder. We have better players coming. It is what it is this year though. And yes, I am glad we made the coaching change.
You’ve gotta remember what conference these guys played in too.. Competition wasnt all that great for them .

First game of the season that I fully expect is to lose. It sucks, but I’ll just hope the team wakes up. The last month has been fools gold. Lazy play but we hustled a win in the second half. We need to learn it won’t work.

Glad to be rid of Cal as well. And hope things do get better when we have legitimate players. But this is going to go from being a really hopeful year to a really terrible one in short order.

That said, we are 10-1 (soon to be 10-2). I think that's pretty good for a team of transfers under a new coach. During that run, we've beat a young Duke team and the Zags. Those wins have catapulted us to the top 5, but I think we're more of a 12-18 ranked team. I don't know how we capture the ball movement and passing we saw earlier in the season; however, I hope Pope can figure it out.

I feel like we don't HAVE to be a finesse team. I get our talent isn't UK level, but that doesn't mean we have to play like a mid major.
I really hope this isn't the way it will be when MP has talent, because mid major softness isn't going to work.
