SC hasn't scored on anybody this year but they haven't played us either lol. Let's face it, this game will go a long way in deciding Stoops future here I believe. Another dreadful performance by the defense and a loss at home to a not very good SC team and the rest of the season will be an absolute train wreck. There will be no recovering from this game if it's a loss. But a win means at least the team still has something to play for even though a bowl game is still probably a long shot.
I'll try to stay optimistic and say the Cats with their backs against the wall pull out a 35-31 win. A loss in this game probably means a 2 or 3 win season and ole Mitch will have to figure out a way to pay for this disaster. That sure won't be easy to do with nobody showing up for games the rest of the season.

The ONE thing that Muschamp has demonstrated he can do over the years is develop a decent defense. USC D is allowing 17 PPG (28th nationally). UK D is allowing 43 PPG (122nd nationally). I don't see the Big Blue offense overcoming the Big Blue defensive incompetence. The Gamecocks will run the ball at a 4:1 ratio and won't score a ton of points, but I don't think they'll have to. I worry that our new starting QB may not survive the game without injury.

U all do know that the most points Carolina has scored so far is 20...these predictions of 31 or 45 is crazy....you all might be surprised at the outcome Saturday night and it just might make you all happy
