Look for UL to turn down any bowl lesser than the Citrus. That is beneath them. They are privileged. If Virginia Tech beats Clemson they expect to be back in the playoffs

This is the Actual ACC peaking order...also keep in mind if Virginia Tech pulls the Upset Clemson is likely headed to the Cotton Bowl with Virginia Tech to the Orange Bowl...the Top 4 teams are Clemson, Virginia Tech, Louisville and Florida State:

The ACC gets a team in the Orange Bowl. It’s the ACC Champion if it’s not in the College Football Playoff. If the ACC plays the Big Ten in the Orange Bowl, the opportunity will be there for another opening in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.

1. Capital One Orange Bowl vs. Big Ten or SEC or Notre Dame
2. Buffalo Wild Citrus Bowl if Big Ten is Orange Bowl opponent
3. Russell Athletic Bowl vs. Big 12

First Tier
– Belk Bowl vs. SEC
– Hyundai Sun Bowl vs. Pac-12
– New Era Pinstripe Bowl vs. Big Ten
– Franklin American Mortgage Music City vs. SEC OR TaxSlayer vs. SEC
It’s one or the other along with the Big Ten. Last year, the ACC played in the Music City, the Big Ten was in the TaxSlayer, so the ACC most likely in the TaxSlayer.

Karma is a ***** Citrus Bowl rated as a bottom feeder unlike Tax Slayer payout let the Uavel Goobers moan and groan
Ain't life great....
That's probably not going to happen. BUT what could happen is. If we win our bowl game & UL loses theirs. And considering that we beat them on their home field. Could we end the season ranked higher in the polls than UL ? IF that were to happen. We would probably be looking at the largest mass suicide since Jonestown.

This is silly. The only reason we seem to be headed to the Taxslayer bowl is because the Taxslayer bowl wants somebody besides Tennessee and Georgia. I'll gladly take it but we didn't earn it on the field against those 2 teams.
Don't care. If the playoff is tired of seeing Bama, I'll take that spot too.

Very uneducated post

Kentucky finished very strong the last ten games and earned this...but yeah, shows a lack of college football knowledge with the OP...only Bowl Games that are bigger than the Citrus Bowl are the New Years Day Six Bowls...last year it was Michigan vs. Florida...the SEC East Champ vs. the Big Ten East Runner up.

Well...tomorrow will find out for Louisville if it is Orange Bowl or Citrus Bowl...the door is now open for the Orange Bowl...Alabama domination of Florida very well could help Louisville...that and the Head to Head-(43 point win) and finishing ahead in the ACC. Similar situation when they flipped Baylor and TCU in the final CFP Rankings

The wild card factor that will always hurt LilBro is their small fan base and their usual box office poison. They do not draw curiosity by the rest of the country. That said...having the leading heisman candidate could be used by the bowl to gin up interest...and interest translates into the ability to sell advertisers on the game. I still believe that their low name recognition will harm them as well as their late season collapse.

You realize that Louisville - Clemson was one the highest rated games this year and they travelled very well to just about every bowl

The factor in that....Clemson. Statewide and national following. Certainly Clemson has good rating whenever it is on. The entire state of SC and through the region due to its long history. LilBro draws a lot of eyeballs...inside the Watterson Expressway.

More ppl nationally watched Louisville-Clemson than Florida State-Clemson...failed argument and it wasn't even close...both Saturday Night 8pm ABC Games.

I think we all can agree that every College Game Day featured game does very well in the ratings. Many folks were drawn to the game and were able to watch LilBro lose.
