Butler makes me nervous for actual crunch time moments. I don’t trust him at all at the FT line

Cats have played very mediocre this half. Shots not really falling, and defense has been suspect. But still up double digits.

Played about as bad as we have all year, and still put up 45. Scary to think we left an easy 15 points on the floor.
Hmmm...not a real sharp half of basketball for the CATS. Get after them CMP.
By far worst half UK has played this year. More than anything else didn't like the effort
These refs are ***. WKU is flailing all over the court on almost every drive and 3 point shot just trying to draw fouls
This was back in 2008. Site was a lot different, especially when using a PC. Had to contact mods by email, and was set back up with same user name, sadly only showing “1” post.
Just play Carr at the 5 a lot more in the second half. Not been the best game for Amari/Garrison in this one.
The good news is we are playing like hot garbage and still put up 45 in the half.

He pushes off quite a bit when dribbling against quick/aggressive/tight defense.
Kentucky has absolutely sucked tonight and yet have a 12 point lead while scoring 45 points in the half. It at least says even when they suck butt they can still establish a 12 point lead. In previous years, if we looked this bad in a game we would be down double digits.
Been happening a bit too much in the past couple of games. We've gone from a team that had nearly ZERO turnovers in a game to being sloppy. Not happy with that AT. ALL.
WKU really trying to muck this game up. We'd be up around 20 if we hit our free throws.
As bad as that looked, we're up by 12 and many people thought we'd win by about 20. And we're not that far off 100 point pace against a team that is better defensively than many ot our opponents.

This game is being called tighter..on both ends…than this team is used to
WKU is showing some different looks that’ll be good for us on the long run

Being spoiled has nothing to do with it. That was a horrible first half, and I guarantee you the coaching staff and players aren't pleased.
If they're not pleased, why should we be? This is a Final Four-level team. Fans will expect them to play better than this, and rightfully so.
We've had our best shooting game just last game vs Jackson St.
Our last two games we've turned it over on only 11.2% and 12.2% of our possessions.
This isn't Jackson St. We are still on pace to beat the spread lol.
Nobody is “freaking out” from what I see. It is ok to criticize lack of effort and sloppy passes, missing free throws. This performance would have UK trailing at the half to ranked opponents.

Does he instill confidence in you at the FT line? Butler is a damn good defender and can make some plays when he needs to, but FT shooting is a major concern for him.
