Dixon got 2 yards on the play before the dumb *** pass, no reason he shouldn't get 2 inches.

but not here. Hand it to Dixon or let Relf sneak it in. I wouldn't call it a choke though. Just sucks.

on the goal line is my only complaint with Mullen. We are light years away from where we were on offense.

There are a bunch of things you can say about choking on a few inches..
At least Ole Miss could cheer me up this week.

The play was executed perfectly, Jones just made a hell of a play. He is one of the Top 5 safeties in the country. Should they have run it....probably, but that isn't the point. The play worked, but the defender just did his job.

In all honesty, besides the pass defense, I thought you guys played well. If you can't see the difference in your team now and last year, you are a dumbass. That being said, I think it is going to be difficult to keep the kids heads up after that one. Getting them up next week is not going to be easy.

I think he just got caught up in the moment and tried to do too much. maybe he should have called time out and thought about it. the pass play was not a bad call if you have a QB you can trust, but lee is nowhere near that. it should have been Relf in the backfield either sneaking or handing it to Dixon. I think he just outthought himself when he probably didn't need to. that's all. He's still a hell of a coach and we should be glad to have him. We just blew a huge chance and it hurts. it's easy to 2'nd guess though.

I have suffered through 40+ years of Mississippi State football...many many games like this...need I mention the Fog game at Ole Miss...10-times inside the 8-yrd line...S.Carolina..and the 4th string QB thowing a 4th down pass to win...and so on and so on.....but I am VIVIDLY aware of the depths we were at just 1-short year ago where we lost to our arch rivel by 45-0 ..the worst loss in the history of the rivalry. You ASSHATS feel like bashing the coach and players for taking the #7 team to the brink..... and LSU I might add ( a team that has OWNED OUR ***) the last 10-years was on the ropes. We have less than average SEC talent and our COACHS had them in position to WIN...we had issues that cost us the game no doubt...but get your head out of your ASSES and be glad we are headed up and to a new level of football at MSU. If you wads of dried spunk want to bash someone....bash the idiots that put us this far behind the eight ball...namely CROOM, MCCORVEY, TEMPLETON and the rest....they are the reason we lost this game......Mullen and his staff are getting the absolute MOST from the steaming pile that was left them....I applaud this staff and for that matter...SOME of the players for getting us to the point we are....

Take your *** somewhere else....with the talent we have and to remotely be in the game....best coaching job I've ever seen. I'm so proud of the state of our football program.

to be upset about losing. You`re a typical moral victory loving loser. Sure we had the inferior team but we weren`t as inferor to LSU as Washington was to USC last week. Upsets happen every damn week. This was our week and we blew it. I don`t need your how to lose graciously ********.

if you had a "Redheaded Mexicans" shred of DNA intelligence in that swollen melon you call a head.....you would realize that I am NOT a moral victory "Drum Major".....I hurt with this loss as much as anyone, I did question some calls by the staff....the difference is I actually have some semblance of reality to the talent level left us by one of the worst coaching staffs EVER compiled in college football history....less the staff Gerry Faust conceived at Notre Dame.....with that all being said...I live in the real world of SEC/Mississippi State/College football....we have a LONG, LONG way to go...but we are light years ahead of where we were...therefore...I give a bit of slack to this game/team/head coach and staff....you how ever should call the nearest person connected to the border patrol and have him escort you to the US/Mexican boarder so you may search for the previously mentioned relatives.....

we didn`t just witness a miracle because we came close to beating a mediocore LSU team and although you and your type will toast this loss for years to come as a victory, some of us won`t. Mullen did a nice job today and is doing a good job. Your posts indicate you have a severe inferiority complex and I have no doubt you proably are inferior. So I would suggest you take up some sort of non-competitive activity where winning is not a priority.
