A O line guy tried to bump fists and Horton shrugged him off like he was not happy.

I was wondering about Horton. Why has he not gotten the touches. Wow. He brushed that OLine guy off pretty aggressively.

Yeah. Not sure if that is the baby in him or if he is just staying mad on the field. Ran hard.

He's not as good as Boom, Snell, and Jo JO...other than that...

Typical.

Hey Mikel, take that anger into PRACTICE and PROVE you're better -- not just rely on your seniority or your experience of last year -- and maybe you won't lose your game reps.

I can just hear it..."I go hard in games, coach."

Might have been mad at himself. Knowing you're fourth on the depth chart, you want to make the most of your chances and he might have been upset at a mistake, etc.

Smart staffs sell guys like him on switching positions when there is a glut. Would be a nice LBer. Our staff just treats them with indifference until they transfer. And then the fans say its a sign of depth.

Probably made because he knows he's seen his last meaningful carry at uk. It's not like he wasn't given the chance. The amount of fumbles he had per carry was frightening.

Maybe he'll work harder and get back in the rotation. Or just sulk and transfer. Either will work.

Another signal that Stoops can't control the locker room. Everyone is unhappy. I see a theme over the last several years.

plenty, and other positions too. Best HS athletes are put at QB and RB and grow into other positions in college. Josh Forrest was a WR, Dupree was a TE....both converted before he came. This staff simply does not keep the backups engaged and motivated (or developed).

Said it last year...Horton is way to slow and not a pounder. Should beef up and give us a FB option when we run that set (which isn't often).

But Horton has the look of a guy that has transfer written all over him with a RS year left to burn.

I don't know of a college running back that switched to linebacker, but I think Micah Johnson played a little of both during his tenure at UK. He was a linebacker that switched to running back occasionally. Outside of him, I can't think of anyone else.

Urlacher is the first name to comes to mind but I will study on it just for you. I guess Josh Forrest and Bud Dupree aren't good enough for you that switched sides at UK as the larger point in the very recent past.

Dewayne White at UL started at RB and ended up at DE. Snedekar started at QB and ended up at LB.

Bunch of freaking women. Yeah, make up a bunch of stuff and then complain about it. Screw off. Stop looking for reasons to bash these kids. You all have no idea what that's about. He was running fourth string last year, and he still came back and works his trail off in practice. You guys are the worst fans and need to just go root for the cardinals or something.

Pretty indicative of the culture of this team. Brooks never would've allowed that kind of stuff. A lot of pouting and prima donna behavior from a lot of the players from the '14 class. Apparently they thought they were going to come in and light the world on fire without putting in the work. Guys like Horton and Barker are a microcosm of Stoops coaching ability. Overhyped. All talk with little substance to back it up. That's what happens when you promote this notion that recruiting rankings win games. Stoops has promoted that culture from day one so it should come as no surprise when these guys act like entitled brats that think they should start just because of their star rankings from high school.

I actually thought Horton would be very good this season. I thought he would be a power running back with his size. He showed some good things last season.

Not talking about players that played qb or rb in high school like Snedeker. I'm just pointing out how stupid the comment was that Horton should start playing linebacker.

He's had chances and some pretty good games but he likes to put the ball in the ground too much.

Horton has impressed me 1 time. His TD run vs EKU where he trucked a guy. Other than that he has ran like a p#$$y. He has nobody to be mad at but himself.

Benny ran very angry. The angriest runner since stoops has been here.

Hopefully he runs that hard against SEC defenses. If so we've found something

We needed the RB depth the last couple of years and now that he's a junior, it's a little too late. I think his best bet is to transfer down to FCS.

I agree, best to do that early on. Might have been doable this past spring.

He caught every ball that was thrown in his direction last year (10 targets, 10 receptions). A smart staff would move him to TE/HB. We don't have a smart staff.
