less than 200 lb QB have passed but that is just my opinion. He certainly comes from a great program and had good offers. <div>
</div><div>It is interesting that he committed and hasn't even visited the campus yet. Sound familiar**</div>

They have four QB on the roster and none of them are Seniors. I understand you need to sign one every year but that will make five the season after next. I know they have room but seems to me that space would be better servedwith an OL or something along those line. Seem that Ole Miss and State always are thin at that position. I guess The coach knows what he is doing but Nutt sign a bunch of QB's and it did not end up good for him.

They're a long way off from the problem of having too many <span style="text-decoration: underline;">good</span> qb's on campus. If they were filling their class with four star talent and had to choose between a 4* qb and a 3* lineman, yeah take the lineman.

But my assumption is that even after they take a flyer on every lineman they can get that has a chance of turning into an SEC player, they're probably still going to have room for a 4* qb. They may not have a 4* qb available next year, so they might as well take him this year and next year they can take a pass.

Just like the 4* DL from UF that wasn't admitted. If he'd come here and we could make room, we'd take him even though we don't need another DL in this class (assuming the coaches thought he was ranked appropriately). UM and MSU are not often going to be in a position to pass up good talent simply because there's not an immediate need.

Apparently the staff is telling him he is playing QB, while he is telling the other QB commit and Yancy that he will move to another position. If Freeze can hold on to him, great for them, but this one could get interesting.

so I don't know how big of a deal that is. And while he isn't slow, he isn't really fast either, so I don't know what he'd play.

I'll still take Sandburg over him all day every day.

You can laugh at this if you want. I don't really care, but I firmly believe that Kincade got the message after Sandburg committed to us. We just weren't really that interested after that.

There are only a couple of positions that an individual can make a real difference at. I heard Cowherd (I think) say that for the NFL it's QB, LT, WR, and CB. I think for college it's probably QB, LT, RB, and DT. True talent at those positions makes a bigger difference than say OLB, OG, or S.<div>
</div><div>If you can get a guy that may be a difference maker at QB on campus, you take him.</div>

Basically, any offensive position except o-linemen and any position on the defensive line can be a game changer in college if they require two people to stop them.

In the NFL, the difference between talent is generally razor thin, so having a great LT usually means that your QB will have good protection. Having a true lockdown corner means that your pass coverage will generally be good. In college, even though a good LT means a ton, it's still relatively easy to have a good LT and a bad line. Similarly, even though it's a huge help to have a corner you can count on to shut down his receiver or area, it's much more likely that weaknesses at the other corner or db positions will still result in a weak defense. At the same time, it's a lot less likely that any player you have at a skill position or on the D-Line in the NFL will truly be a game changer, because it's just that much harder to rise excel. You've basically got a handful of them in the league at any one time.

We have to be excited that we are finally signing a couple legit high school QBs. We've sucked at getting them since Eli.<div>
</div><div>We would have 2 transfer senior QBs but Stoudt sucked so bad they have him graduating early and Mackey sucked so bad they moved him to WR.</div><div>
</div><div>Barry Brunetti showed last year he couldn't make a throw beyond about 10 yards down field, but he only has 2 years left. Bo Wallace is an unknown commodity on the SEC level, but he only has 3 years left and has used up his redshirt year.</div><div>
</div><div>Makhail Miller is a greyshirt who is probably only still at the QB position because of numbers, and the 4th QB you mentioned is a walkon that will never play besides for the scout team.</div><div>
</div><div>So after 1 redshirt year for these signees, we will only have 2 QBs ahead of them: Wallace and Miller who have never taken a snap in D-1 football, and with the way OM has done with QBs lately, at least one of those 2 will be a flop. Also Kincaid could be moved to a different position if QB doesn't work out, but I'd prefer to have a little depth at that position.</div><div>

the problem at Ole Miss is that your lines suck ***. So BB wasn't exactly given the luxury of time to make plays. Unfortunately for you that is not likely to change anytime soon so having the best QB in the nation come in isn't going to make a huge difference. No doubt Ole Miss takes him, hell we would too, but until they start actually recruiting on the lines I'm not worried about them pulling this thing out of the ditch anytime soon.

I've seen him listed at 6'-6'1 175 lbs, 4.7 40. I'm sure he's talented but no one in the SEC would give notice. I don't see a fit as qb in this league. Sounds like Dylan Favre.

Was it just me or did Rivals have him at 3 *s???

That being said, those spots would be better filled by linemen

so did anthony dixon. good players commit to ****** teams all the time. another example, robert griffin. ever heard of him? how about jake locker? if you love a school, you love a school. he may feel it's is best place to play and get noticed in the premiere conference. any high school player who dominates his conference/classification thinks he's going to be the top dawg to whatever school he goes to.<div id="LCS_336D0C35_8A85_403a_B9D2_65C292C39087_communicationDiv"></div>

All 3 of those went to nearby in-state schools. This guy just committed to an out-of-state school he's never even visited. That's pretty unusual.

Uncle 17us nothing. He the smartest guy in the room (to him). Oh hey btw Uncle 17us, how did Avengers turn out? I thought it was gonna suck & nobody was gonna see it? You might want to go check the stats, looks like almost EVERYBODY (based on how much money it made) went to see it. Good call!

You sound like Derek Dunn. And wow you really, really hate the heat. I also like the questioning of Rivals because "he told me he wanted to go to state!"

Good times

1.) My projection about JB was based on something he told me after a game in Maben. 2.) Your dumbass projection was based on idiocy. Those are not even comparable!

This is the same profile pic I use for EVERY thing including twitter, facebook and everyother forum I'm on. Who gives a ****? Am I supposed to be a pusscake like you Ruckus? Floodgates? Hmmm, ok whatever will be...will be. Coming from a blackbear fan like you Blankstare (or Adam Milner) i'm gonna be a-ok w/ using the 17 rule on twitter as it shortens a 4 letter work to 2. You know like "u" &" knw".
