If we beat um badly, do they fall out of the rankings? If so would it hurt our strength of schedule?

Is there a sweet spot where we beat them decisively enough that the game is never in question, but not so bad that they fall out of the rankings?

I want to destroy that team as much as anybody but if it puts us in the playoff with another top 25 victory, then I'm all for it.

The committee has said they consider where a team is ranked when you beat them. We need to win as decisively as possible.

Pull for western Kentucky. We should be pulling for all the 20-25 ranked teams to lose. That way it makes room for ark and lsu. It also gives a good falling point for auburn and OM

I think the TCU blowout road win last night means we can't just win by a touchdown and keep our spot this week unless someone else loses. We need to win by two TD's or more. If we win by 14 to 21 points, I think UM will stay in the rankings and we stay at fourth.

The committee isn't objective and have been making up the criteria as they go. We just need to win as decisively as possible.

They didn't play Iowa either. LSU and Arkansas are much more likely to be ranked over 8-4 Iowa than over 9-3 Nebraska.

21-14. Halfway through the first quarter

They're going to burn out the lights on the scoreboard.

You gotta pace yourself. Switch over to the Nebraska-Iowa game (was scoreless for 1&1/2 quarters, now 10-0 heading into halftime), watch some slow, plodding B1G football, then switch back to the defenseless C-USA basketball on turf.
