Pull Pollo on a 3-2 count? He didn't look hurt. I really don't get this. I do know that this game has been very chippy and I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been a fight yet. We need to pull this game out because this would be a huge confidence builder considering how emotional this game has been.

Had to think the offspeed was going to come there. Reed looks like he's got his good stuff tonight though. I think this might be his to finish off tonight. </p>

3-2 count- payoff pitch.

Cohen takes out the LH pitcher who is facing one of their better hitters, to bring in a RH'ed pitcher who throws from 2 different arm slots. The pitcher has a huge advantage in that situation.

Outcome? One of their best hitters takes an extremely weak swing and fouls out to the 1st baseman- and we keep a runner off base to start the inning- significantly lowering their chances to score.

I know what Reed can do and I know what he brings to the table, but when I made that post I assumed Cohen was going to ask Reed to finish the game to save Holder for a possible Sunday save. I wasn't a huge fan of that and I wasn't sure Reed was going to be able to get it done. Then we would lose Reed for tomorrow and possibly lose thegame tonight.I thought Pollo was working his stuff well and we could have kept him in.ButReed got it done and did his job. I like bringing him in for what Cohen used him for, but I wasn't a fan of using him the rest of the game, which is what I wrongly assumed he would do.
